WAY better than expected.
I feared that the yellow pin shown in the photos that activates the motor was going to be plastic but thankfully it is metal. I can see this sander lasting a long time. The housing is very robust and the grip is perfect in the hand. The sander runs great on my 8 gallon husky compressor at 60 Psi and absolutely SHREDS ON 75+ psi. Surf prep 3x4 pads fit perfectly and the red hook and loop pad is of the same quality as the $550 sanders. I HIGHLY recommend this sander

I have 2 of these they work great with the surf prep paper and foam pads . those are the best sandpaper on the market . these sanders are are way cheaper than their expensive sander . over 4 years old and still going using it almost every day.
