For me it was well worth the money, it’s super easy to use and I was kinda nervous seeing the reviews on how it doesn’t properly skip a song, but mine worked perfectly. The remote is a plus especially when you don’t wanna get up just to press a button. Overall, happy with this purchase!

It is compact and plays well. For more volume, I added a separate speaker.

We bought a different cd player for our daughter and we laugh a lot saying things just ain’t Abby proof. That is our daughters name. And if there is a way to find the fault in a product she will absolutely find it and come to me and ask if it could be fixed. Most of the time I can fix it but after the 2nd and 3rd time it’s usually not Abby proof anymore. So anyway the first one we bought was absolutely not Abby proof and we are giving this one a try right now. It arrived yesterday. Wish us luck! 😂

The GOOD:- it sounds pretty good for it’s size. Vocals are crisp compared to the music. Bass isn’t great but for a desktop player it’ll do.- I love the portability so I can easily take it outside if I’m going out to sit in the sun and have music while I read or whatever, but it’s really not going to be loud enough for something like a pool party.- I love that it has an optical out port so I can move it to where the record player is and hook it up to the Marantz receiver without shelling out hundreds of dollars for a CD player component. [***EDIT*** I wrote this before my optical cable arrived so hadn’t actually tried it yet. Well it has since arrived, and it does not work. You have to select the optical option from the player or the remote, I tried it both ways while it was hooked up and despite saying “on”, it just continued to play out the built-in speaker. I’ve never seen such a poorly designed player.]The unforgivably BAD:- When you want to skip to the next track, it starts a few seconds in which makes absolutely no sense. To add to this insult, the fwd & back buttons have no ability to skim, only ‘skip’; so even if you hold down the button, nothing happens.- The “back” button doesn’t take you to the beginning of the song you’re on, but to the song prior to the song you’re on. So if you want to start a song over, you have to click back, then next. And if it’s the very first song, just forget it, because clicking back while listening to the first song will completely confuse the device.- Once the CD is over, the device does not shut off. It just keeps spinning forever until you hit “stop”, which is super weird and a pain in the ass.Ultimately, as much as the GOOD fulfills my cd player wish list, this thing is getting returned. For a CD player to have less control over actual song selection than a cassette player is an utter fail, and having to babysit the player so it doesn’t just keep spinning when it reaches the end is insane.

So cute and works great. Arrived pretty quick and is easy to use.

I ordered this and it came defective, the seller got back to me quickly and offered to replace it or give me a refund. I had hope so I decided to try it one more time and it works okay. The sound quality is great for its size, and when you play through the whole CD you notice no problems. It won't play a cd if not turned on with a cd already inside the machine, and when you decide to skip to another song, it skips a couple of seconds into the said song. This could become a great product if it just had some final touches.
