Great tool overall
So far this saw is performing better than the manufacturer lists it as capable of. I needed it to fit into a tight spot for cutting some 1/4 steel supports. I took it slow since it's only rated for a quarter of that. But it had no problems at all with the cut. It did get really cold from all the air moving through it, but I expected that.Only complaint I would have is that the blades aren't marked with a tpi. But that's not really a problem.

It does not accept files.
Very good tool for flat hacksaw, jig saw type blades. They could easily make the chuck to also accept 3/16 round files handles.I would rate it a 10+ if the chuck would hold both blades and files.

Not good
The item was supposed to be usable with compressor air up to 90psi and 4 cfm. Well my compressor meets all there specs and it doesn’t cut move the blade sufficiently enough to cut 18 gage steel sheets used on automotive repairs

Bad business practice
I had shopped around for a small reciprocating saw, order a couple but sent them back. Just cheap junk. Then this one popped up. Knowing the quality of Eastwood stuff, I ordered it. It arrived just as I expected. A lot of metal, heavy in the hand and a great size. A catalogue was packed with it so I looked through it. TheEXACT same saw was advertised for 59 dollars and change. I paid $79.91 for the one I got. Come on folks, that's a little tacky. I give the saw a 5, but I give Eastwood a 1 for shoddy business practice. I'll steer clear of Eastwood stuff available from Amazon from now on. That 20 bucks blew my free Prime shipping out of the water. I didn't appreciate being done this way.
