Interesting Idea
My son came to me about a year ago and was trying to explain this new cup he had seen. I purchased a few others, but he was persistent about wanting the air up. I finally gave in and he loves it. It helps to trick your brain into thinking your water has a flavor. He drinks a lot more water with the cup than he did with his other cups, this one has more scent/flavor.

Yes, it really does work!
This is really a cool product. I drink a lot of water but sometimes I want to mix it up with some flavor, this is outstanding.It’s easy to add a flavor pod to the top and you just pull it up slightly and it tastes like you’re drinking flavored water, even though this is completely scent based.Haven’t gone through all the flavors yet but peach has been my favorite
