Fantastic present for travellers
I bought this book as a present for someone who loves travelling. I thought it would be a coffee table type of book, but he loves reading it so much that he carries it around with him even given it's size. Beautiful pictures and interesting information on each place.

big book , basic info
its tells you about everything heritage in the world, but it has very little information about most of them. so its ok, for a quick check, but you'll need extra info from somewhere else, to know more deeply about some places....

Excellent reference to the planet's most extraordinary places
It is worth the money just for the hundreds of pictures in the book itself. One could spend hours browsing through the information and pictures of the UNESCO sites. This book is a perfect gift for any world traveler, history lover and/or photographer. My only compliant is the books size and shape. It is a smaller book and almost 900 pages, making it very thick, and does not easily stay open. The spine is already bent.
