I just purchased a loveseat with dual recliners and the footrest part has this uncomfy wooden board where your feet go. I purchased these pillows and they work perfectly. The surface is slightly scratchy, but I put a sheet over the loveseat anyway. This worked exactly as I needed it to!

Came extremely flat because it was shrunk wrapped. Fluffed up to stayed size. Would not stay in place. My daughter sewed a piece of webbed shelf liner that prevented slipping on back. Now stays in place.

Despite the negative reviews, I decided to try this because the footrest of my recliner is WAY!!! too short (A caveat to buying furniture online). I'm only 4'11 and my feet dangle off the end starting above my shins, and this was advertised as a chair for adults. I purchased this to elevate a bad knee so I could ice it easier. I figured at least one of them would work... meh...NOPE. My caregiver and I tried every feasible option to get even one of them to stay. We firstly attempted the most obvious way strapping the Velcro straps to each other, but it kept coming off every time I got up. This is true for both of the extensions. Next we tried tying them together. From that failed experiment, we crisscrossed the straps together by both by strapping and tying. I even used some industrial strengthened safety pins to hold them in place, but nothing worked. Our best attempt allowed me to get up all of 3 times before they popped off. If anyone has better suggestions on how to make these things stay in place, I will thank you for it. I tire of repositioning a bed pillow every time I get up. My knee will thank you. Also for those recliner makers out there, if you don't want to invest in the materials to elongate your foot rests for normal sized folks at least have the decency to stuff some extra fluff in them to make up for it. And to the makers of this product, the concept is great, but the execution is terrible. Do better.

Despite tying knots in the elastic used to keep it on the footrest of my recliner, it still slides off. So I put it on the backrest of my recliner & use it as a lumbar support. Works great for that. It has enough give to be comfortable, yet not too soft to be of little actual support as in those with fiberfill. This is a foam half-circle that comes in a zippered cover so it can be washed. The cover is made of a soft & durable fabric. Maybe when I get a new recliner, it might work better on the footrest. For now, it's helping my lumbar-region feel great. I sleep in my recliner, so getting a good night's sleep is essential. This helps. I'm still looking for other options for the footrest.
