This stove topper is from CrafTIT and I was a boob for buying it!
About 2 years ago, I bought a brand new Frigidaire Gallery gas stovetop. I saw tons of ads from Stoveguard for a flame resistant cover to make keeping the stovetop clean. Every time I went to Stoveguard, they never carried a topper for my newly released model...even after 2 years...and despite the claim that they would make a custom topper upon request, my custom request always put me in a weird loop that went nowhere. Then I saw the Craftit Edibles Grease Getter Stove Topper for just $30 which you can cut to fit so I figured why not! I was so excited when it arrived and got to work setting it up for marking and cutting. Straight out of the box the experience was bad and got worse as time progressed. Included in the box were 4 inserts: three separate instruction sheets and a random flyer from a high school out of Bentonville, Arkansas. When I discovered the grease on the back of the mat, I figured out that someone (a lot smarter than me) had attempted to fit this mat on their uncleaned cooktop before abandoning the project, scooping up the paperwork (including their PTA flyer) and returning it to Amazon. It wasn't too badly soiled and I was really tired of fighting to keep my stovetop clean (it's black and streaks are difficult to get rid of) so for $30 I forged ahead by first wiping down the mat. Now, without the oily substance from a stranger, I had fingerprints and streaks on the mat that were worse than my naked cooktop. I read the legitimate instructions--all three of them--and two of them had QR codes for detailed instructions. Both codes took me to a "Your account has been deleted" message. Yay.Unfortunately, after cutting it to "fit" (some of the pre-cut holes were not exactly centered where I needed them) I placed my burner caps back and then my grates and looked at a thin, rumpled mat with crudely cut holes (I have a steady hand, but...) that had more fingerprints than the local P.D. booking room. Needless to say, it went straight into the trash. On a positive note, I'm glad I tried it because I now will abandon the expensive Stoveguard custom mat pursuit and just stick to special cleaning rags with elbow grease. At least that way I only lost $30 instead of around $130 - $200. For that, I am grateful.

Don’t waste your money
This mat has precut holes which did not match up with my stovetop at all. The only way I could use this would be to cut it into 5 pieces which defeats the purpose. Also the precut holes were larger than two of my burners. A great idea but they need to improve the product.
