Great colors & is a nice change from bland wrapping paper

The wrapping paper is nice but I was only able to wrap one medium sized gift with a roll. Given how small the amount of paper you get is, I'm not sure it's worth the cost.

The cutter was so cool to have but the wrapping paper was cheap and the patterns/colors were messed up here and there. Looked bad. Tried to cover up with ribbon.

This kit came with a good variety of colors and patterns. I think the dark grey with a honey comb type pattern was my favorite. The paper is in the mid thickness range. Its not super cheap and thin, but I would prefer the blue and light grey/silver roll had been a little bit thicker. The dark grey and pink roll seemed to have a little bit better thickness in my opinion. It was easy to wrap things and get good measurements, and the lines looked nice and tape held well despite the glossy texture and patterns on the paper.  A note: You are not getting the typical sized roll, they are about half the size of a typical roll, but I was still able to wrap a pretty standard sized box, plus I felt like I wasted less paper and it made them a lot easier to store without taking up so much vertical space. I really liked the shorter roll design.The paper cutting tool is a little difficult to get the hang of at first, and sometimes it does not glide very smoothly so you do end up ripping the paper or having to start over, but I also think some of that is paper quality and thin-ness. Given that I took the tool as kind of a bonus to the paper I wanted. It worked well for what it is.I think overall this has good value for what you are getting out of it.

I had no problems with this wrapping paper kit. I love that it comes with the cutter but it's a bit clunky and can become a bit of a hassle to use at times but scissors still work fine with this paper.

The paper matches the product pictures, so you can determine for yourself if you like how it looks. Beyond that...I'm a bit of a wrapping paper nerd - by no means an expert, but I always prefer wrapping paper over a gift bag (even for oddly shaped packages) and so I've come to learn what I like in a wrapping paper. This is good wrapping paper; it's nice, thick paper that won't tear too easily, folds and creases neatly without the surface breaking, and stays where you put it when you're folding it. The cutting tool is also a nice design; the paper roll itself guides the cutter for a straight cut across the roll. (If you need to cut width-wise as well, that still has to be done freehand, but the cutter still makes a straight cut more easily than scissors.)One thing to be aware of is the width of each roll. They list this in the product title, so I'm not saying they're hiding anything (though their pictures do seem to go out of their way not to show the full width of the roll); but if - like me - you're not used to converting "numbers of inches" to intuitive understanding of size, then you might be surprised when you see them. (I had hoped to include a picture to show relative size, but the system is "helpfully" cropping the image so that it, to, does not show the ends of the roll, and I can't seem to fix it by lowering resolution, etc. So... suffice it to say it's a little over 1/2 as wide as a 30" roll, which in my experience is a more common width.) Now this is not necessarily a bad thing - for many packages this width will actually be very convenient as you'll only have to cut the right length of paper. Just be aware that this isn't well-suited for larger boxes.I was drawn to this particular product because I was running low on paper suitable for anything but Christmas; this is a quick way to get a few patterns for birthdays or more general gift occasions, and comes with the cutting tool to boot. Even so, be conscious that this isn't the cheapest option out there. Many cheaper papers won't be as nice to work with, but if you were to find the cost hard to justify for a product that is the very definition of disposable... I couldn't blame you. Nonetheless it IS very nice paper, and I'm happy to have it on hand.

Arrived too late to wrap my grandson's birthday presents. I am sending it back because I found full sized, quality paper cheaper.

The four rolls of wrapping paper you get with this are really good quality. The paper is a good weight for wrapping and doesn't tear when you bend it like a lot of cheap flimsy wrapping papers do. Overall 5/5 for the paper.The cutter is puzzling, though. I can see where it would be handy when wrapping a large gift with one of those three-foot rolls of wrapping paper, but the rolls that come in this package are less than a foot and a half, and so the help is minimal. It also doesn't help with the smaller cuts you usually need to make when wrapping a gift. Overall a puzzling and probably unnecessary thing to include. But the paper is excellent.
