I bought two sets of these - one set for each ear - and most of the stones in one set have all fallen out whilst the others are just fine. I can only assume I have been unfortunate.

I haven't worn earrings in my ear cartilage piercings since I was in my 20s, now in my 40s. I decided to give wearing earings another go (nothing else to do in lockdown), so I ordered these. I wanted something fairly small and delicate looking before I go crazy with other earings. The "gem" is small, which is what I wanted. The bar is thick, this is what I struggled with. Having not worn earrings for many years, pushing them through took much wine, swearing and persistence. I can confirm that these have not caused any kind of metal allergy (I am allergic to nickel) and the only pain has come from my own not so delicate handing of my ears.The backs are where I saw many negative reviews, being fiddly and small. I like them as my experience with earing backs was the butterfly kind which I would promptly lose as soon as I had put them on. These stay put. I've been turning my earings in the holes but make sure to turn them right (righty tightly) as this stops the threaded ball back from unscrewing.My advice is not to look in the mirror while trying to put the back on: do it by feel. I pinch the back between thumb and forefinger so the hole in the back is visible. I then, with that hand, put my arm behind my head to locate the screw on the other side of the earing from behind. So use the opposite hand to the ear you are putting it in. Steady the earing from the front and angle your ear out with your other hand. I have needed to have a few attempts most times, but you definitely feel when the thread has engaged with the hole in the back, then just screw clockwise for it to tighten. The ball type seems far more secure and comfortable when you finally get them on. Reading my own words back I am confused, so I don't know if my advice helps at all!All in all, I like them, they are small and fiddly but secure.

When I bought these, I did actually look at the measurements and reviews, and knew that they would be small, which I had no problem with, as they were going into my third hole on my earlobes. However, the picture provided by the seller, which is a horrible photoshop onto the model's ears, is very misleading. I debated even ordering them because they looked much bigger in the picture compared to the actual listed measurements. But, I took the chance.They are tiny. I was worried that they would actually go through the hole in my ear entirely, and almost just returned them unopened. But they are also extremely adorable, so I had to try. They are, of course, fiddly to deal with, but that was expected, and I got them in with little trouble. While they look great, I do think that they need a picture to better reflect their true size in a person's ears, and perhaps even find someone to model them rather than going the lazy route with photoshop. It's tricky enough to buy earrings online without the seller posting conflicting information about the product.

Very pretty little earrings, smaller than expected and bloody fiddly to get in. I reopened up two holes in in my right ear that I haven't used for about 18 months, no ill effect from the earrings other than some soreness which I expected from digging around trying to find the hole at the back and then screwing the balls on!!! They're tiny, so that was the fun part!! Once in all fine, don't even know they're there. Don't intend buying again as once in they ain't coming out again!!

The colours are much paler than shown in the picture, the red is just a pale pink which is a shame. The rest of it is fine.

I love these earrings and excited to receive them. Just really hard to get the ball off to wear them, I had to use pliers in the end to undo one, which has scratched the ball. Have asked my husband to undo the others so I will see later, other than that they are very pretty.

They arrived before the date given. They are very pretty but the coloured bit is very small, much smaller than I thought it would be. Still, they are easy to put in and I don't even know it's there,so they are comfortable,I even keep them in at night.
