I have been writing books on my family history. This book gives you more information on certain things you might have forgotten.The book is line out to make you think. Perfect for anyone needing that little push.

The author has a number of tips to help in writing your family history. However, there wasn't much to help with writing an historical family history, i.e., someone unrelated, an historical figure.

This book is well written and filled with good ideas. The writer has included many examples from her own experience and from others to illustrate her suggestions. The book was a real help during a family get together over the holidays by generating many comments and starting several good discussions.

Wiebe offers practical, personal examples, coupled with "try thinking about this . . . ." ideas. She offers encouragement, and coaches you through, one step at a time.

This is a well-organized and helpful treatise on writing one's personal history.

Looks like what I am looking for to write my personal history. Easy reading and to follow the guild lines.
