I actually don't use this for the radio. It's best feature it that it has a flash drive port, which makes playing downloaded podcasts portable and easy to stop and start where you left off. And the sound is great for such a small device!

I have Pastor Chuck Smith's sermons on a micro SD card. I tried playing it in portable blue tooth speakers but it would start from the beginning every time I turned it off and on. I wanted to continue listening from where I left off. This player does just that. It also skips to the next sermon with each push of the forward button (or back with the back button). The sound is clear and loud and I can even hear it while it's on the bathroom sink and I'm in the shower. The size is quite small so it makes it convenient to pack or carry around. The build quality seems quite good also. Although it has other features, like an FM radio and a little LED flashlight, I probably won't be using them. What I need it to do it does marvelously. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I really love this radio / MP3 player. Good radio reception, great sound from its little speaker, removable and replaceable rechargeable battery (they've adopted a common Nokia cellphone battery), accepts stereo headphones, can play MP3s from micro-SD card. Quibbles:1. Aux port is a line-in not a line-out. I'd like to connect this to a larger amplifier.2. You can't select which radio stations as presets, it chooses all stations in the area that are in range as presets.Another thing it does well: you can power it through USB, recharging the battery, while continuing to play music. And I like that it doesn't attempt to be a clock (so I don't have to keep adjusting it to be in sync). The on-off switch is a positive slider that can't be accidentally switched like touch sensitive buttons can sometimes be.
