Requires assembly, safety?
This could be exactly what I need, but I can't try it because it requires assembly. I bought it specifically because it is a plug-in, not hard wire. However, the cord for plug-in must be wired to the lamp by the buyer. It does not come with wire nuts; I don't keep those around. Not knowing when I could get to a store to purchase wire nuts means I would miss the return-by date in case the lamp does not work.Of greater concern is safety. The open back of the lamp is intended to be screwed to a junction box for hard wiring purpose. Hanging directly on wood or drywall (my use) strikes me as unsafe if there is a short or if heat is otherwise generated. Not recommended.
