Good close, smooth shave, holds a good charge!
This was found to be exactly as advertised and came well packaged and works very well. The Norelco was the first shaver I had 55 years ago so I guess the brand will be around for awhile. I appreciate the three piece shaving head as it accommodates my face well and I am getting a much better shave than from previous Panasonic and Braun 5 head shavers. Holds a good charge and recharges quickly. Works for me!

Best Shave Ever! Safe for Black Men.
I am pleasantly surprised that as a Black man who has to be careful of his shaving techniques, because of the potential problem of pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps) I can use this everyday. I researched shavers that are recommended for Black men. This one came up, and was highly rated outside of Amazon. I may even have seen it as part of the testing program at Consumer Reports.I have shaved for nearly 50 years. This is my first rotary shaver. I had to replace my MG7750, which would no longer take a charge. I never knew that I could have as clean a shave a trim as I have enjoyed with this one, to the point where others are noticing the diffeence in my appearance.I do not use the charging cradle, because the top-heavy design of the shaver makes it wobble. I am happy to maintain blissful ignorance of the shaver's durability. I just plug the charger cord directly into the port on the shaver and lay it on its back.I only charge it once a week, and I use it daily. It is unplugged when not charging. I do this to extend the life of the battery. As stated above I only need to plug it in once a week, and it is always ready by the time of my next shave. I tried to make a video showing how clean a shave I get from it, but it disappeared after I recorded it.It is a great value, a good, bump-free, burn-free, fast shave. You can be done, head and face, in three to five, if you are perfectionist as I am, or less if you are neuro-typical.It cmes with a case in which you can fit all of the accessories. Cleaning is easy. ISince I do not have a cleaner, I remove the blade array, tap it lightly on the sink, the clippings come out and I discard them. The manufacturer recommends shaving dry for the cleanest results. They are right. I have a truly clean look, cleaner than I thought was possible without going to a professional barber on a daily basis.

Close to razor smooth shave, without irritation
I have primarily wet-shaved with cartridge razors for 30+ years. I've tried other electric shavers in the past, but rotary models never got close enough, and foil shavers left my neck irritated and incompletely trimmed.I've been using this 7000-series Norelco for about 2 weeks for every shave, and it's the first electric shaver I've used that I might continue using regularly over a blade. It's been giving me a shave *nearly* as close as a razor (not quite, quite there), without irritation, without the process and the mess of wet shaving, in about half the time. The trimmer attachment works well for my sideburns, and the battery life seems excellent - I haven't had to recharge it more than once a week. The 'AI' and whatever else they advertise seems like a marketing gimmick, but as I said the quality of shave is there. It's easy to clean, rinsing after each use have sufficed so far. I don't think I'd pay more to have the model with a proprietary cleaning station and 'pods'; it seems totally unnecessary.

After 66 years of shaving I’ve finally found the best!
Fabulous shaver. Ideal for me. I went from a blade (65 years) to a straight razor (8 months) to this floating head design and it is by far the best. Cleanest, most complete shave by far. Most comfortable. Very sophisticated charging and easy to clean. For me there is no going back.

Skip the 9 Series and buy this--NOW!
Update - - I'm still loving this razor! I bought it in mid-September and today, the last day in November, I had to charge it for the second time. I've used this razor every weekday and continue to love the close shave. The product has held up very well and still looks very nice. And it holds a charge phenomenally.I'm a big Norelco fan--for decades. I've had several of their top of the line models with my last one being a 9000 series. It did well for years but as all know, Norelco stopped selling complete head replacements and only would sell replacement blades--my shaver head become very calcified and crusty (yes, I could clean it with some special products, but it was also getting old and faded). So I decided to get a new shaver. I reviewed all the models and nothing really excited me, until I saw the new 7 series! Very nice looking--and then I saw the price! I couldn't believe it was so cheap I had to look several times. I thought perhaps Amazon made a mistake in the listing price! This is about the price of 2 replacement blades. Given that price, I bought it immediately. When the product arrived, I was impressed with the quality of build. Very nice looking and good feel. It is lighter than the 9000 series but that's fine. I LOVE that it has a built-in trimmer--I missed that with my latest 9 series shaver. And I like that the shaver blades pop open with a hinge rather than my older 9 series which required me to completely remove the top--often dropping it into the sink, when rinsing. The shave was SO SMOOTH and close. It doesn't sound as nice as the 9 series--remember this is less than a third of the price! But it cuts amazingly--so much better than my old one--very close, and very powerful. My old shaver would struggle with weekend stubble and sometimes I'd have to use a blade and then the shaver on Mondays--no more with this shaver! I've had it for several months now and have yet to have it drop even one of the 3 bars on the battery. I actually look forward to shaving every morning--it's so smooth and fun. The only drawback with the new Norelco design is, as others have mentioned, this doesn't get under the nose as well as the older design. But again, for the money, one can but a new shaver 3 times as often as the older 9 series and I have not noticed anything lacking from this model. BUY IT NOW! You won't regret your decision.

Fantastic.
I'm 63 years old. This is the best electric shaver by far, that I've ever used! It handles Every contour of my face without missing spots. Very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this to everybody. Thanks to Amazon 😀
