The flickering effect is fantastic and i like how simply tightening the base turns them on, so no need for an unsightly switch - this means they look just like candles and feel nice and solid, excellent quality and the dripping wax effects on the side are a nice touch.. they do stand up on their own but youll need to lean them against something or put in a candle holder to prevent falling over all the time

Bought these as was creating a harry potter themed bedroom for my daughter, so hooked them up to the ceiling with fishing wire, you twist the bottom to turn on great addition to her room

Couldnt find fault, they were excellent, but what I would love is the option for them a bit longer ie a dinner candle size.

Read some reviews re heating up. Left one on for a few hours and no problem. Did the job I needed them for. Needed red but couldn't find any so just used permanent marker pen.
