I had heard horror stories about paint-on primer, but I didn't have an open space to use the spray, so I bought some anyway. While it's obviously slower to apply, the finish came out flawlessly without any of the clumpiness I had been warned to expect.

No adhesion (to plastic) nice as a black paint!
Lovely as a black paint, not so much as a primer. Very poor adhesion (to plastic) and creates no additional adhesion for the top colour… which is the whole point of a primer.
