Homefront (PS3)

I had just finished my collection of games and was looking for a decent First Person Shooter to tide me over until Battlefield 3 arrived, so i looked around and found Homefront I had already seen the trailer and had thought about getting before but had always decided on something else instead.I saw the good price and checked out the reviews which were average but since it was cheap I thought I would give it a chance... and I'm quite glad I did,all the critcisms about this game are harsh,reviews that say you spend most of the time wandering around talking to people are wrong, that is only a short section of ONE level and if you wish you can just walk straight past to skip to the action.The graphics are good, the story isn't to bad in itself and the gameplay is enjoyable, in all honesty I did find the campaign a little short its only 7 missions however each one takes about 30-40 minutes depending on the difficulty and your skill.Overall if your looking for a decent FPS then this is perfect,it isnt Battlefield or CoD but its fun and thats enough for me. I hope this has helped i could have done with a good review when i tohught about getting this for the first time :).

I bought this as a fill in game until the big boys, Battlefield 3/COD MW3 and Resistance 3 were released.All the failings of this game have been mentioned in previous reviews so all I can say is although the graphics/gameplay are quite good and the story line is engaging the single player mode is far too short (Can't comment regarding online gameplay).I can't recommend it as a top notch FPS but for the money, £12.00, it's good value and filled the gap.

Brilliant game. Just couldn't stop playing this game as its soooo addictive. Arrived quickly and well packed so I could get down to the hardcore gaming straight away. If you buy any game put this in your top 10

Decent game for the price but surprisingly short. I was shocked when it ended....and it did just sort of end.

Um jogo bem construido com uma história bem feita e bons gráficos.Muito bom também em Online.Uma nota negativa para a necessidade de comprar uma licença para jogar online porque comprei o jogo original em 2ªmão.Penso que não seja correto.

Great shooter game, all modes in solo play are fairly easy to operate. Set in a Korean dominated world you play part of the US resistance trying to free your countrymen. Your job is to help get some much needed fuel to the regular army, and then to take part in a major battle. I found this very enjoyable to play.
