48x84 inch (Double 24×84 inch Door) Sliding Barn Wood Door Slab with 8ft Hardware Kit, Requires Simple DIY Assembly

Purchased this door set, spent one day assembling the door and glueing were indicated, staining and polyurethane. Second day, installed the door. Looks great! Installed the door in about 30mins on the wall. Looks great and slides so easy. Just follow the directions. Kit came will all the hardware and they provided 1 extra of very screws needed. Very happy and well made. Very solid. Would highly recommend this door unit.

The barn door is for a half bath in the loft of our cabin. It was very easy to put together. Some reviews mentioned that some screws were too short; we didn’t have that issue. It was a great value.

I received the item promptly but didn't know I would have to assemble the door, though it was pretty straight forward & wasn't difficult. It looks good but the nuts & bolts for the hanger assembly were missing. So I had to go to Lowes & buy some to hang the door, which I'm sure don't fit the same. I emailed the company thru Amazon about 5 days ago & haven't got a response. So now I'm skeptical. I was hoping that they would contact me & just send them. If they don't respond I'll change my overall rating to a 2. If they had responded promptly I would have increased it to a 4.The company Shinehom did contact me within the week about sending the missing part, so I'm upgrading my rating to 4. Would have gotten a 5 if it was included in the original delivery.

This came very quickly. Great quality and smells great. We are not DIYers but it was very simple to put together and hang!

The 2 doors just arrived, packaging was perfect, and all parts included. I am a woodworker and was about to make the doors myself but had a recent health issue that caused me to put off the build. So no door was ever built and had no privacy in my bedroom. I took a chance and ordered the doors from your company. What a pleasant surprise when I opened the box’s and saw the beautiful wood I am about to stain. I foresee no problems putting it together and installing it as the directions appear to be straightforward. I will follow up with a second review once they are up with a few pictures. But for now I am very pleased with the purchase, and will definitely use your company for future home improvement's. So a solid thumbs up with a 5+ star rating. Where some companies cut corners and I have been disappointed in the past with DIY wood products, I see nothing but QUALITY in your product and the description was spot on. Thank You. I am 4’11, a female, & installed this all alone. For the record, I’ve never done anything like this project before. I did buy an extra board to screw to the studs and then mounted the track to that. It is DEFINITELY not a 30 minute job! And the instructions are tiny and pics hard to see, especially when it comes to some of the not so obvious hardware. The doors were the easiest to put together. The two coats of paint took the longest. Because my house is 158 years old, my floor isn’t level. Be sure to take something like that into account when figuring out the height of the track. Because of this, I had to purchase different guides to install (not done just yet). With the coupon, this was the best priced 18” double door set I could find and the quality is great! Very happy!

The stickers they put on the pieces to denote the sections of the door are not removable. You literally have to scrape them off because they leave adhesive behind, and this causes dents and dings in the soft wood where they were stuck. Requires a lot of extra work sanding to get the wood smooth. Plus, the slats shift and separate, leaving see-through areas in the door. AND they sent us three when we only ordered two, so we had to go through the hassle of returning one of them and leaving it outside to be picked up... package was very heavy. I don't recommend purchasing.

The door is beautiful. It was easy to put together, looks great and is solid wood. Definitely a good deal. The door is quite heavy and probably should have an extra support beam added. Also, I would install it slightly higher than the instructions tell you to, if you have carpet. Oh and add the stopper to the rail before you bolt it to the wall, if you’re putting it in a corner. Oops!
