These are lovely nesting boxes. I ordered the set of red-wine boxes and the velvet has a short nap with a soft, plush feel. Sometimes boxes of this type have a rather thin, brittle type of velvet, but in this case the fabric feels very nice and has a luxe appearance. The box itself is made of light-weight white card-stock but it feels quite sturdy. The velvet fabric wraps around the sides of each box, leaving the bottom uncovered. The edge of the velvet is even so there is no gapping or wrinkling at the bottom. There is a seam where the ends of the fabric join and they are glued neatly and securely in place. The fabric folds down about 3/4" into the inside of each box and is also neat and even. The rest of the inside is uncovered. The cover of the box is also very neatly done -- the fabric on the top is very smooth with no flaws and the fabric covering the sides lines up with the top & bottom edges of the cover very well. The cover also has a seam of course, and I just position it on the box so the two seams are aligned. I just put the box cover of the box is so the two seams are aligned. The velvet does not have any scratches or markings These are not tiny, flimsy boxes. The size range is excellent and would accommodate a variety of gift sizes and shape + the boxes feel substantial enough to handle a decent amount of weight. The dimensions are shown in the product description but I always have a hard time visualizing exactly how big a product is just from that information. Just to give an indication of size, I would say that the largest one is about the same size as one of my two-quart mixing bowls and the smallest one is a little less than half of that size. These would be so nice to use for individual gifts for multiple recipients or all four of them stacked and tied with a beautiful ribbon for a gorgeous presentation of gifts for one person. The boxes are so cute for storing small items later, too. The current price of $21.98 seems reasonable for that special gift or gifts. The boxes arrived undamaged in a light-weight plastic box but it does seem as if they could be damaged if someone at the warehouse packed them carelessly with other items.

Shown holding the largest of the four, the color is a RICH red and these would be IDEAL for DIY tower gifts or for using individually for gifting. They are so pretty and plush velvet.

I absolutely love these round red velvet boxes. They show good quality and present "value" by itself. I love how these 4 boxes nest in each other tightly and can be used in "nesting gift" situation, where you have to open box after box until you get to the gift. The red color looks amazing with black satin ribbon. A great deal on these. And the red color is a perfect Christmas red and looks good as part of decorations as well.

These are very cute, however my first order was so covered in powdery mold/mildew, it had to be immediately disposed of, and my second order had a couple of mildew stops. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the hassle to return or deal with the chat bots.Would give 0 stars if available. Do not recommend.
