I have a Happy Chappy after shaving for once
My Son asked me to purchase this for him as he had read about it.He was keen to try it as he suffers from irritation when shaving and as this new Fusion has a lubrication before and after the blade goes across the skin he hoped it would help in some way.Although he has only had it for a short while (used four times at this stage) he is already really impressed with it and said he could feel a difference right from the first shave.As I don't have any facial hair - well not visible enough to shave being female!! I can't give any opinion and if I use it on my legs he will go loopy :) I can only base my review on his opinion.So far he seems extremely impressed and hasn't moaned once after shaving which is a blessing. A happy chappy after shaving is a blessing I can tell you.Added to the fact that he was impressed with the cost of this with three blades we have a happy house at the minute. If anything changes based on this razor I will be sure to update my review accordingly but so far he loves it.

Gillette, the best a man etc.
I don't buy into all the marketing about the razors and the angles, etc. All I know is that as a teenager I started shaving my scalp (out of choice, NOT because I was going bald, cheeky!), Gillette Mach 3 was the first "well known" brand I used and it did a clean job, repeatedly, so now whenever I need or want to update my razor, I buy whatever the latest Gillette razor is. They've all worked perfectly in giving me an even shave right down to the skin, from the top of my scalp to right under my chin. I've slipped plenty of times, but in doing so have only cut myself on rare occasions. I just broke my Fusion after years of service, these just happen to be the latest razor/blade combo they're selling and after using it, it feels great, so 5 stars.

Good upgrade from a broken razor, don't bother if you have a recent model!
Good upgrade from an older Gillette model that had become a bit rough, however unsure it gives a closer shave all in all - roughly the same however there are some good points that might be worth you upgrading:Good large moisturising bars, although people should still moisturise properly afterwards(!)Razor on the back of the main blade is excellent for those last remaining hairs under your nose or for super tight sideburnsThe head rotates side to side to keep it directly on your face, hopefully should avoid a few shaving cuts!4 included blades - much better value than my last razor purchaseThe blades are the expensive ongoing purchase as usual, but so far so good

I'm quite pleased and far less hairy
Should you really be excited every time a new razor blade with new features gets introduced? Well, after 8 years of service my original Fusion set was up for replacement. So is the ProShield razor any good? Yes - you'll buy this one at a bit of a premium compared to the older types. But the shaving result is good; its shaves with a lot of ease and leaves me with a smooth chin for most of the day. Perhaps the most surprising outcome is that it shaves so well that its somehow costs me less time to do the job - quite a good outcome I would say.

Gillette is Gillette and they make Good shavers. I am not sure what benefit the ball technology makes. It still feels the same as the previous Gillette fusion razor I have. When new these blades always gives a smooth close shave. These blades seem to have an all round soothing strip and I do feel that although it is good it should try to make it last longer instead. Not much of an upgrade, I should have kept my old handle and bought the new blades instead.

Say goodbye to razor burn & rashes!
I am a bloke who suffers from shaving rashes and feels the razor burn. I had my doubts as to whether Gillette had genuinely created what it was claiming, but had to give this a try.I am glad I did, because this razor really does deliver. Not a single burn or rash from 5 days of shaving.The downsides are that the blades are quite pricey and you are unlikely to get more than 5 days of 'rash free' shaving out of each blade.I can't recommend this razor enough to anyone who finds shaving is often a sore and unpleasant experience.

Great marketing. Insane amount money spent to get people to buy these plastic cartridge razors.Think about it, the razor you use, doesn't just remove the hair from your face. It also removes layer of your skin. 5 blades razor, harms your skin, as it causes irritations and a lot more strokes than needed. The number of strokes MUST be as less as possible.One razor blade will do a perfect job with a lot closer shave than 5 blades + say goodbye to irritations and ingrown hair. The ads and marketing messages behind the 5 blades razors are misleading and should be ignored. 5 blades means 5 strokes on your nice skin with very very tiny little time between each. Stay away from them. Spend more time for your shaving, enjoy it as it's a fun thing to do. Buy quality accessories, such as brush and good shaving cream. Stay away from 5 blades rubbish plastic razors PLEASE.

Can't beat the shave
There is a lot of noise about these new entrants into the shaving market with cheaper prices, better convenience (though not sure I like the subscription model). Anyway despite all the noise you can't get a better quality razor that this. Sad to say it because I love trying new things but this is comfortable and gives a great shave. End of.
