Amazing set of features for such a reasonable price
Really love that it has PTZ and auto tracking all in one affordable package. Those features work pretty well, especially for a consumer-level device. I wish it had greater light sensitivity in near-dark conditions like other cameras on the market because the LED lights are too much to be turning on very bright at night in front of my house. Still, it works fairly well to leave it in color mode even when that LED is off because it does have decent light sensitivity, just not great. The motion detection is where I am going to need to spend more time trying to fine tune because as it is it's firing constantly, even when there's nothing that I can see in frame that is moving (other than maybe leaves in the trees moving ever so little?). The secondary stream for the zoom feature is pretty slick. I haven't found it to be super useful yet because it doesn't seem to want to center itself on whatever it's tracking, so I don't really find it showing me the face of the person in the yard for example. I suspect this might be just a setting problem but it doesn't work great out of the box. However, the wider FOV stream is high quality so you can make out faces on that stream just fine.EDIT: I see that I can reduce the sensitivity of the motion detection to reduce the false positives, which is helping (I still need to tweak more). I also found that changing the "tracking method" to "pan/tilt tracking first" does the trick to make it so the secondary zoom camera is focused on the target. It's actually pretty amazing -- just now I watched it figure out that there was someone walking down the sidewalk across the street from me, it automatically moved to center both cameras on that person, zoomed in to see them fairly closely with the secondary camera while keeping the main camera at the full FOV, and automatically continued to move to keep them in frame. I feel like this will be very helpful in case there's something wonky going on in front of my house now.

Hassle-Free Security: Get Protected Quickly and Easily
Reolink Trackmix POE Review: A Homeowner's PerspectiveAs a homeowner, I've been increasingly concerned about protecting my property. Tired of the limitations and ongoing costs of cloud subscription-based security cameras, I decided to explore other options. That's when I discovered the Reolink Trackmix POE, and I'm incredibly impressed with it.Easy Installation for a Non-Techy PersonOne of my biggest worries was the installation process. I'm not a security camera professional by any means, and the thought of complex wiring and setup was daunting. However, the Reolink Trackmix POE was surprisingly easy to install. The Power over Ethernet (POE) functionality was a game-changer, as it allowed me to run both power and data through a single cable. This simplified the setup process significantly, and I had the camera up and running in no time.Amazing Camera FunctionalityThe camera's functionality is truly amazing. The image quality is crystal clear, providing detailed footage that leaves nothing to the imagination. The dual-lens system, with its wide-angle and telephoto views, is a standout feature. It allows me to monitor a broad area while also capturing close-up details when needed. The smart detection features, including person, vehicle, and pet detection, have also been incredibly accurate, minimizing false alarms and ensuring that I only receive relevant notifications.PTZ is a Game-ChangerThe pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) capabilities of the Reolink Trackmix POE are fantastic. The ability to remotely control the camera's movement and zoom is incredibly useful for getting a better view of specific areas or tracking movement. It gives me a sense of control and allows me to actively monitor my property.Goodbye, Cloud Subscriptions!I'm thrilled to finally break free from the burden of cloud storage subscriptions. The Reolink Trackmix POE supports local storage options, such as microSD cards and NVRs, which not only saves me money but also gives me more control over my data.Overall, a Great ChoiceOverall, the Reolink Trackmix POE is an excellent security camera for homeowners like me who want a reliable, feature-rich, and easy-to-use solution without the hassle of cloud subscriptions. The easy installation, amazing camera functionality, and impressive PTZ features make it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to enhance their home security. I highly recommend this camera.
