Great practice tests that can really provide a physics student ...
Great practice tests that can really provide a physics student with good examples of physics problems that help to simulate the AP exam.

Shocking that this study guide would contain so many errors!
I am shocked with the number of errors in this book. My son has been stressing over the exam and unfortunately, he has had to spend a lot of additional time convincing himself that his answer are right over answers provided in the book. This has not only been a massive waste of time but it leads to the insecurity of second-guessing whether he is actually right or not. I haven't looked at a Physics equation in over 30 years so I have not been in a position to determine for a fact what answers are actually wrong vs. right. However, he showed me one question that clearly had a force acting on a particle in a Westerly direction. The problem asked for the velocity and direction. Answer "A" was "0", answer B was a velocity in the Westerly direction and C was that same velocity but in the Eastern direction (i.e. trying to "trick" the student by providing two similar answers). The answer provided in the key was "A) 0" but it went on to explain why the velocity was in the Eastern direction (i.e. answer "C"). So in essence, the book gave 2 wrong answers to the same question!!! Unfortunately, I do not know if there are better study options available or not but I find it appalling that they would be this sloppy on something this important to a young student!

Errors and mistakes
There are so many mistakes in this book. The letters in the answers for the practice exams are different from the questions. Princeton review should improve on this more. All of my Princeton review books have errors.

Experimental design questions need work
This is a good study guide. My main point of contention is that for the free response, the experimental design questions are not very similar to the questions on the exam. Fyi, the AP Physics 1 exam has 1 12-point experimental design question for each free-response area. Those questions in this book are too simplistic to be representative of the level on the real exam. The Barron's book has better examples of these...however the book as a whole is not as good as the Princeton IMHO.

they are not easy, they spend time and money but get confused ...
There are too many mistakes in this book. This book might misguide high school students with wrong concepts and calculation In this book: power=IR^2.(solution for test 3, section 2, problem 4); In many cases, the final equations with square are correct , but when plug the numbers, the square is always forgotten to calculate ; Each answer keys page has several wrong answers, the author even did not bother to check the solution page with answer page. This book also has content that goes well beyond the guideline of AP physics 1. In circuit part. guideline says only one battery circuit will be tested. This book puts two batteries circuit in a test. Please hire real teachers to check this book and do consider our next generation. they are not easy, they spend time and money but get confused with wrong concepts.
