Its a flex shaft lol
Pretty durable, decent quality. I use it almost everyday, hardly ever remove it. Only thing its almost impossible to find a universal chuck that will fit . Lol id recommend. Hey i just did 😂

Too short, vibrates and gets hot.
The quality control must be horrendous. First off its too short in my opinion, but I hooked it up when I finally needed to use it, and it just bound up and barely spun. So I lubed it up with silicone spray. It finally got spinning but it vibrates enough to lose some teeth, it very uncomfortable! There is a bearing under the collar about 1"-2" but tolerances are so bad you can actually see the quick collar wobbling when you turn down the speed! Also it gets too hot to hold in about 3 minutes, hot hot hot. This thing is more or less useless as a tool. Knowing what I know now, I CAN NOT recommend this tool. It's a shame too because it wouldn't cost hardly anymore money to tighten tolerances up a bit.

It's ok
I suppose my expectations were not that high considering the price. Has a considerable amount of vibration, and gets a bit warm after a while. It does work fine for what I use it for, and so far it's the only one that fits the rotary tool I need it on.

the base that screws onto the grinder is too small need a bigger base for a HaborFraight grinder

Just like the one I'm replacing that had over 100 hours on it.
These things are a must,and they will last if you pull the cable every now and then,and give it a little grease,my last one went over 100 hours and 80% of the time is at full wide open speed. The only thing I would like to see,is some tighter bearing tolerance,can be a little unnerving sometimes especially at slower speeds but I still give this thing 5 stars simply because it held out like it did after I run it to death.

Hab ich doch meine Welle nach 12 Jahren gehimmelt war ich um so glücklicher, genau die Gleiche günstig bei Amazon zu finden. Bestellt und zwei Tage später konnte ich weiter mit meinem Dremel-Verschnitt arbeiten.Dankeschön ☺️
