This is a pretty hardy piece of equipment! The delivery person threw it onto my porch and it was not injured. I was worried because lightbulbs can be finicky.It is easy to use. The light is not glaring. It is bright. I like being able to gradually increase the amount of light just as a sunrise does.I recommend this light. it is performing well for me.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this lamp to help with the aptly named “SAD” which has been hitting me pretty hard lately and it has helped a bunch after using it for a few days now. The way I used this product is I would wake up in the morning and turn on the lamp for about 30 minutes to help me wake up.Pros:- Goes up to 10000 lum: I found this to be great because that is what all of the websites I have read recommend for it to be the most effective.- Different light settings: nice for when I wake up I don’t immediately blast myself with a piercing light, that way I can slowly increase the intensity as I begin to wake up.- Heavy base with rubber padding: was not expecting this to have such a weighty and sturdy construction, it really helps with preventing it getting knocked over. The rubber base also helps keep it from moving from the accidental elbow.Cons:- Buttons: these buttons are touch sensitive “tap” buttons, meaning just touching them turns on the lamp. I thought this would be a cool feature until I got it, imagine my surprise as I try to turn it on early in the morning and I accidentally hit the max light button instead of the dimmer after blindly searching for the right area. More often than not I have to tilt the light down (which often accidentally turns it on as I grab the top) and look to tap the setting I want .TLDR/Final thoughts:- Great light therapy lamp at an affordable price (especially on sale) with very durable construction, but decide before purchasing if you are ok with dealing with the touch sensitive “tap” buttons.

I was diagnosed with a Vitamin D deficiency and have been on supplements for months now. I bought this on a whim that it could only help, and I'm not disappointed. I work from home in an office with large windows when when there's nothing but gloom outside, I use this to brighten the space. The highest settings are ridiculously bright, so I tend to stay at the first or second setting. I also really like the timer feature.

I'm surprised to report that this actually helps with my wintery season blah mood. There's 3 different light settings. It's very easy to use...just plug it in. The sensor button to turn it on is quite sensitive and will turn on with a light touch. The 3 different brightness settings are handy. I used this on a rainy sunday, where usually I would go to bed with the "sunday scaries" but when I laid my head down that night, I felt ok! I've been using it in the mornings since and it does help me wake up. The brightest setting is quite bright, but not so bright where it's blinding. Would recommend as an affordable option for someone who wants to experiment with using a sun lamp for those "SAD" days

It's only 10,000 lux if your eyes are like 4 inches away from the light. 2 feet away it's as low as 200-300 lux... download a lux reading app and see for yourself

Not so sure yet how it is working for my SAD, but is relaxing to sit by it in the morning with my tea. Very attractive so do not have to move it when finished.

I like the settings vary in length and intensity. It is also portable.would like it to assisted in my mood through the winter

Made a big difference in the SAD. I leave it on all day beside my chair, so anytime I sit I get a dose. The buttons can be a little weird or annoying because just passing your finger over one activates it. Put your finger too close to the power while trying to adjust brightness and it turns off. Still worth it.

I initially hesitated with this purchase as I thought, here we go another gadget impulse buy.? It turns out that it has been something I look forward to using every day upon waking. Love ❤️ it. Even my Cat likes it😁 On/off and three light settings. Comfortable with the brightest setting. Highly recommend.
