Good style and size for our need, ended up spraying it brown because it was actually black and we aren’t into black lighting inside our home

I bought this light fixture to replace the ugly builder-grade fixture that came with our house. I really like this light. I wanted something that just would cast the light downward and not outwards in all directions. I must admit, I pictured a larger light fixture in my head and was slightly disappointed when I opened the box. However, it really is the perfect size for my needs. I did not want the light fixture to be THE conversation piece; I just wanted it to have just as much style as functionality.The install was pretty easy. In fact I did it myself because I did not want to wait for my husband to come home. It took maybe 20 minutes. As can be seen by the pictures, I just used a CFL lightbulb. I believe it to be the medium base style – not sure… All I know is that I did not have to buy a special type of light bulb – it’s the standard bulb that is most commonly used.The color is great – an oil rubbed bronze finish. I’m in the south and when I took the pictures, our tree pollen was in full swing, so that is the yellow/green dust that you see in the pictures.The dome/globe part of the light measures just under 8 inches in diameter. The base (the part that mounts to the wall) measures about 5 inches in diameter. The overall height including the globe/dome and the arm is about 10.5 inches. –Please see pictures.

I took a risk and got these for an older home remodel, and they are perfect! The home went pending before I could snap a photo, but I will try to hunt down a picture somehow. I absolutely loved them! I got 2 for above the stairs into an attic type room. The home is older and we wanted to keep the charm. I was afraid these would be too big for indoors of a smaller home, but they are gorgeous! (Purchased the nickel finish ones, but the bronze/black are on my next wish list). Home sold in less then a day-always keep some charm in older homes!

This light looks good above the front door of my 1914 Craftsman home. I couldn't find an appealing fixture at the local big box retailer that didn't have an integrated LED bulb; old wiring prevents me from using LED bulbs on a circuit with a timer. Globe Electric to the rescue! I was able to pair this fixture with a vintage-style incandescent bulb. My only complaint is the mounting hardware, which has room for improvement. It was very difficult to get it to line up on the electrical box because the screws are long and the wall plate is shallow. I could never get the fixture level, but at least it isn't crooked enough to be an eyesore.

This light fixture is GREAT for the price! I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, I bought 2 for my back deck to replace the cheap, tiny builder grade ones that were 18 years old. I asked our electrician to put them in bc he was already here working on something anyway, he asked me where I got them and couldn’t believe the quality for the price. He had them both installed in 20 minutes. They put out great light, are very attractive and are updated without being too trendy. I highly recommend!

Great look, crappy mounting hardware. The screws that project from the wall mount and thru the base plate are too long. Of course they are metric and I could not use my screw cutter. Even when cut to the right length, they will often spin, and the little round ball on the from cannot be turned tight enough to get the base up tight aginst the wall. Simple solution, get some dark truss head screws, spray paint black, mount to wall with appropriate sized drywall anchors. The caveat is that the supplied mount allows you to rotate the base to get the lamp vertical. If using screws directly into the wall, you need to be sure your screw holes.anchors are perfectly level.

We bought these for our covered front porch, so these are not exposed to any rain or snow at our house. I did paint them red to match my mailbox and shutters and they are gorgeous! Everyone comments on how great they look when they walk up. They give off plenty of light and were easy to install over our board and batten siding.

Put up the fixture today. It came on time. Looked really nice outside my side door. Put a bulb in to test, so far,so good. Removed the bulb, so I could put an Edison bulb in and the whole interior thread for the light came right off with the bulb. No way to fix it. Guess I got a lemon. Very disappointed.

These lights look pretty good. One of them doesn't seem to sit right and is angled out ever so slightly, but enough for me to notice. They're not adjustable.From a distance, they look fine. Other than the slight angle, they're decent.

I ordered 2 really easy to install myself, I have just received 4 more to make a bigger impact on the front of my house. Cant wait for my electrician to install new wiring for these.

Definitely recommend this light! It’s on the smaller size but was such an upgrade for our space at such a reasonable price! So easy to install.
