Simple to use.
A total beginner can use this and also a pro. Wife put over 4000 hrs on it in under a yr, and it still works great. Love it.

Newcomers: Avoid At All Costs
Over a year ago, I purchased this printer after seeing several YouTube reviews hail the Flashforge Adventurer line as "beginner friendly" and "super intuitive and reliable"In barely a year's time, it has proven to be absolutely none of these things. I have nearly replaced every single component inside the machine, ultimately spending nearly as much as the machine itself, and insodoing, learned way more about 3D printing than I'd ever expected/intended. This printer is FAR MORE difficult to troubleshoot than MOST 3d Printers of it's class and you will have LESS of a headache and have wasted LESS money if you simply spend 1/3 of your money instead and purchase an Ender Pro like everyone else correctly has done.My latest issue cannot be chalked up to anything more than awful design, as the filament feeder relies on a pinching tool to hold the filament tube in place as it's being fed. If this printer simply used a pair of pneumatic feedings at the start AND finish of the bowden nozzle/extruder, I'd be up and printing again.I can't even use normal Bowden capricorn tubing because this awful system pinches the tubes too hard for filament to ultimately feed through it.The cherry on top that exacerbates everything is that the support from Flashforge is unacceptably minimal - for spending $800, you'd think a tech support team member would at least be willing to hop on a video conference and help you troubleshoot issues. At this point, the only thing that would restore my faith in this would brand be an entire replacement unit - which we've not yet done. Happy to send in the existing device.Iβd like to add that this holiday season, I was relying on this printer to help me make creative, heartfelt, inexpensive Christmas gifts for my family this year as I am struggling to get by otherwise. Turns out my foolish mistake was relying on this printer for anything. Please reach out to me. Thanks.

I love this printer
For a midrange 3d printer the FlashForge Adventurer 4 is a great purchase. It does everything I want and delivers high quality prints.

Hard to give this 2 stars.
This is an alright beginner printer for someone who doesn't care very much about print quality or isn't printing anything functional. Many of the features advertised are actually flaws in disguise, like their bed-leveling mechanism which ends up being less precise and slower to level than any printer I've ever owned. Even if it was "leveling-free," you will never have a level bed, so I hope you like rafts, or having half of your print stuck to the bed. I contacted FlashForge and they sent me an entirely new bed assembly hassle-free-- which is why I'm giving "Tech Support" a 5/5-- but it unfortunately has the same issues. It's something inherent with the printer and something you can find mentioned in various threads and videos on the Internet (not a one-off issue). I spent three hours meticulously adjusting the calibration and then printing a level-test, and was unable to ensure parity between all nine points. Their slicer, FlashPrint, seems great on the surface, but is lacking much of the control present in other slicers, and where I suspect many of the slicing issues come from. Cura is hypothetically compatible, but good luck getting it to work. Today, for no apparent reason, it stopped connecting to my printer from the slicer, and I can no longer sent prints over the network, which was my final straw. I will be returning. Super unfortunate.

Horrible Garbage Unit
I have 3 Flashforge Adventure 3 units and Love them, So I thought I would step up and order the newest unit that will print larger items. After 5 days and countless calibrations and wasted models I wanted to return this item. I have amazon prime, and this was listed as prime. Tried to return the unit and apparently they want me to contact some seller and wait 2 days. What a bunch of BS, if its prime, I should get all my normal prime benefits. Wont even just let me exchange the unit for a working one. Looks like FlashForge products are Going DOWN HILL fast. Buyer Beware!!!!!
