Emsco Group 1246 Little Diggers Child Safe Tool – Garden Kid Hoe

I'm not a child. This was not brought for a child. It was brought for me. :) It has a wooden handle and plastic head. Both of which are good quality. They're good for light work. I find it very useful. We raise lambs. Sometimes they get in the yard. AND where do they go? The pack patio of course. This hoe works great to clear their little gifts off. I would recommend it.

Not bad for kids but note that the hoe part is plastic. i had bought to help with getting dog poop, but the hoe part is weak and does not work all that well for my use

Well made. I didn't actually buy it for a child. I bought it to help me clean my hen house and it has held up well. Very happy with it and it is much more economical than the alternatives I had seen.

The wooden handle is sanded and varnished. The bright orange plastic (was expecting blue) is pretty rigid, slightly angled inward, with a straight edge. It is fastened on by two small brads on one side. I plan to reinforce with a wood screw.

I am a short adult and I use this in my small flower and herb garden. The soils is not hard so it works perfect for me.

I gave it away yo a friend daughter she loved it.

Was expecting something a bit stronger made.

Has held up well to my son's nearly daily use in a sandbox
