Beautiful Sink!
It is a beauitful sink. Will not disappoint. Faster shipping than some of the other bigger retailers! I am in love with it. My favorite feature is the fact tgat you can pick which side you like better cause each side has a different pattern.

Excellent Quality - Packaged Very Well
Replaced an existing double bowl stainless steel sink that was really difficult to use because the double bowl design won't allow for big pans or cookie sheets to be placed in the sink for cleaning. This came packaged very, very well.1 The cardboard box was heavy duty.2 Next there was 1/4" plywood around all 4 sides.3 Followed by a 2" thick piece of styrofoam.4 Sink wrapped in a breathable felt bag. There were no scratches, dings or defects in the sink I received.Included were the necessary clips for mounting and the drain strainer. (I didn't use the included strainer as I was installing a disposal which requires it's own strainer). Also included were a drying rack, colander, and cutting board. All of which rest nicely in the integrated lip located along the back and front of the sink. The sink metal is of high quality thick 16 gauge Stainless Steel and the construction at the seams was perfect with no noticeable welding joints. For all the negative reviews about scratching, PLEASE READ THIS.This sink is non ferrous stainless steel (metal). That means it WILL scratch. The beauty of stainless though, is over time as small scratches are introduced onto the surface it creates a "patina" of sorts; and scratching becomes less noticeable over time, as many micro scratches creates a dull "satin" finish on the surface. This is normal. If you don't like this type of finish then you should consider a different type of sink made from a different material. Stainless Steel however, with proper cleaning and use (not abuse) will turn into a timeless classic look.

Ask the right questions...Sarlai 32” single-bowl undermount sink...
This is indeed a beautiful sink but be sure to ask the right questions so you won’t be disappointed! Prior to purchasing this sink I did a thorough comparison and decided that this sink was a great value for the money. I loved the presentation and was especially pleased with the drain accessories that came with the sink. The sink included a basket, stopper and a sleek-looking drain cover which many of the other sinks in this quality and price range did not.We intended to use a garbage disposal so I looked at the questions and noticed that the seller had responded to another customer saying that it included a drain for a garbage disposal. Sold! I purchased the sink and was so pleased to receive it and have my contractor install it...what a lovely sink! We were so disappointed, however-to find that we could NOT use the drain or accessories that came with the sink. We had to use the cheap, black, plastic stopper that came with it and sadly boxed up and stored the basket, stopper and drain cover as none of them worked with the 1/2 HP Insinkerator that we purchased. Had we posed the APPROPRIATE question and were told no, we had to use the drain/flange that accompanied the garbage disposal-I might have chosen a different sink, perhaps opting for one that didn’t include accessories that I’m certain I paid for and could not use...Despite that disappointment, we are very happy with this 32” Sarlai under-mount sink. It is large and deep, and the built-in accessories for the top lip of the sink are very unique and as described. The cutting board is dark in tone and is a good, snug fit. The drainer consists of stainless rods inserted in a rubber stripping that fits smoothly along the lip of the sink, allowing one to wash dishes and rinse them while utilizing the drainer at the same time. We get lots of use out of the basket which can be used for rinsing vegetables or defrosting meat. It’s very quiet, too as the outer walls of the sink are well-padded. It was suggested to us by our plumber that we wipe it down before initial use with a stainless cleaner and polish and to do this at least weekly if not after each use to keep the nice sheen of the sink. The screen included with the sink is so nice to have but sits about an inch from the bottom of the sink. You’d be surprised how much water one needs to use to get the level of the water above the screen of the 32”single bowl model. We use a plastic dishpan with ours when doing a small amount of dishes so as not to use quite so much water. The screen does keep the sink from scratching when washing larger, heavy items such as stove grates or pots.Overall we are very happy with the purchase. Response from the seller was timely.

We love this sink!
1 Year, 7 Month Update:No regrets, this is a fantastic sink. As mentioned below in my earlier review, we have very hard water. Still no spots. We still have all the original accessories and all have held up great - including the stainless steel metal grate and the drying rack. No rusting and both look new even though they're used every day.I did scratch the bottom of the sink. I had taken out the metal grate and was furiously scrubbing a ceramic pan, forgetting that I didn't have the grate. Left a long scratch at the bottom but it's only visible in when looking from a specific angle under the right lighting conditions. There are also some light scratches along the edge of inside front of the sink from daily use. Again, not easy to see and definitely not a reason to not buy this. Just keep in mind that you can scratch deep enough to get to the silver metal. I recommend leaving the grate in.We do throw the grate into the dishwasher about once a month to clean off anything that we don't get during routine hand cleaning.Otherwise no dents or dings. I'm also amazed how there are no scratches along the top rim of the sink. This thing is built very well.My wife and I are still VERY satisfied and love all the compliments we get when people see it. Highly recommended!!1 Month Update:Still loving this sink. It's held up very well - no issues at all. We have hard water so sometimes it spots a little but very easy to clean off with a paper towel - no hard scrubbing.Previous Review:I never thought I'd ever be doing a review for a sink but I also never thought I'd actually love one either. It's only been in for a few days, but we love the size, accessories, and the overall quality. The sink is solid with excellent sound dampening, it's well constructed, not too heavy, has great drainage, and it's beautiful to look at.My wife and I are in the process of remodeling and realized our sink was bringing the whole kitchen down. We had very few requirements but we agreed we wanted a darker sink to match our black stainless appliances. After a ton of research we settled on the Sarlai 33" drop-in in gunmetal black. It matches everything perfectly. (As a side note, we also had looked at black granite epoxy sinks, but after seeing how much care they require, we decided against it.)Shipping was fantastic. The sink came in a cardboard box, lined with 1/4" plywood. Foam was placed around each corner of the sink which was wrapped in a nice cloth bag. All the accessories and book were wrapped in plastic and tucked inside the sink nicely.Installation was very straight forward. I'm not a plumber but I'm pretty handy so I ended up just doing it myself. I didn't have to make any modifications to the counter top since the original sink was also 33". The package included clips that go all the way around the sink. I placed a bead of silicone around the edge and dropped the sink in. Clips screwed in nicely - no issues and the sink made a really tight seal. I had read reviews of other stainless steal sinks and how they can be a little warped - no warping on this one at all; nice and flat!Because we have a garbage disposal, the included drain wouldn't work. So I ordered the Allwen black kitchen sink drain (see link below). It matches PERFECTLY. After some acrobatics and a little plumbers putty, everything went smooth. One other thing I did for myself is I attached the faucet and air switch BEFORE I placed the sink in. That made a HUGE difference.Drain - Alwen: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0838VV4V4Faucet - Delta Essa - Black Matte: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012I44QM8Air Switch - SINKINGDOM - Black Matte: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LBYGCQFDisposal: InSinkErator - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IB4NIDW

Beauty comes at a price...
I love my sink! But I ran into an issue when I went to install my garbage disposal. The insert would not fit right! Then I discovered once I gently pounded it in with a rubber mallet, that the insert was too short.Off to the plumbing store, only to find out that the new deeper insert was $100!!!! The guy at the store told me he was sorry. I could find it online through amazon for $68. I so badly wanted to do that...but I was working on the project that day... I wanted to finish it and not worry about it later. Ugh!! That was super frustrating. So the beauty of this sink speaks for itself. But the plumber guy said it right sort of... the parts required for an expensive sink (or rich person sink) are expensive.Needless to say, I was a little put out with that experience. Was NOT anticipating the already expensive sink costing me even MORE when installing it. Maybe that’s my fault, I don’t care. The sink looks great in my kitchen remodel, and I didn’t break it installing the drain in the misshaped whole! Wahoo!Beauty in this matter comes with a price! Just FYI.
