No separate little levers to confuse or break.
It’s much better to have the primary switch be for the lights and the small lever to adjust the fan speeds.

Worked great for separate fan and light control. I have a fan that has a non dimmable light, so this was the answer.

Works like it should
I use the light more than the fan so it works quite well for me and it was a simple install. It includes the wire nuts for the connections. You need to get a faceplate, if you don’t have one. It is a little bulk so you'll need to move the wires to the sides of the box.Operation wise: Light clicks into place and the slider glides gently and lightly bumps @ various power levels for the Fan

The fan slide switch is a little difficult to manipulate
The fan slide switch is a little difficult to manipulate, it is small and need a little force to slide. Other than that I installed 3 of these switches in all of my bedrooms and they work great to turn things on and off at the room entryway rather than walking to the center of a room and turning things on and off using a pull chain.

This is NOT, repeat, NOT a real 3-way switch
I ordered two of these to serve as 3-way switches for the ceiling fan of one room of my home and had hired an electrician to do the installation. Was advised by the electrician that these aren't 3-way switches after all. They seem to work fine as single-pole switches, but if you're needing a real 3-way switch for a ceiling fan, look elsewhere.

Satisfied my need
This switch worked exactly as I wished. It allowed me to install LCD bulbs in a ceiling fan. I did not need to dim the lights, but wanted to control the speed of the fan.
