About the item
Our 209 perimeter trip alarm kit comes with the gear you need to set up your 209 primer perimeter trip alarm around your camp site, homestead, and garden area. The kit comes with the 209 primer trip alarm, one Dyneema trip line spool (85'), and one EMPTY silicone caddy (carrier). The spool attaches to the silicone carrier, making it easier to access your primers while you are outdoors and keeps it all in one safe place. Our complete Camp Safe kit is small enough to carry in your camping gear or hiking back pack, but loud enough to e off the wildlife to keep you safe giving off a noise level of 114dB. Primers can be hard to find, so please make sure you have access to them before you purchase this product. 1. Figure out the perimeter of your camp site. 2. Secure one end of your Dyneema trip line. 3. Run it along your perimeter, in a line that is unobstructed by objects ie branches, walls, trees 4. Secure your alarm on a post/tree at the site end of your perimeter. Attach the alarm system in a vertical position to a hard object. Use the eye screw or zip ties. 5. Set up your alarm, put the safety pin in, arm it, and then tie the Dyneema trip line to the trigger pin. Always install the safety pin and set trip wire BEFORE installing the 209 primer.
