Q: What are the dimensions of this lamp?

The lamp is 5.5 x 5.5 x 14 not 7x7x14 or 9x9. I just received one and returned it for another which were both the wrong size than the dimensions stated. They used to be 7x7x14 and better quality and now they're smaller and crap

Q: Can you use any other bulb such as a Phillips hue bulb

You can use any bulb with an E26 base that doesn't exceed the maximum wattage, which is 60 watts.

Q: What output amp is the usb connection?

Label states "5VDC Max 1A". Charges my phone just fine over the course of the work day.

Q: Is the lighting medium-soft or is it harsh and bright?

At the color temp of 3,000 Kelvin and 9.5 LED watts it will be bright but more on the warmer side.
