Belham Living Richmond Curved-Back 4-ft. Outdoor Wood Bench

I got this bench to put in my yard. It looks so good. My husband put it together quickly without any problems. Its is very heavy and quite sturdy. We like it so much my husband wants me to order another and he never wants me to order anything!UPDATE!!I have added two more pictures to my review. The first picture is the bench when we first put it in the yard. the second picture id after I hand rubbed with tung oil(NOT the boiled kind; make sure it says raw on the label) all except for the outer three seat slats. The third picture is a close up so you can see the difference. The back three slats have been rubbed with oil, the front three have not. This bench sat in my garden in all kinds of weather for at least three months and, as you can see, it still looks pretty good, although much better after tung oil. I recommend this bench wholeheartedly but I also recommend rubbing with the raw tung oil before putting outside. This will protect it if you do it at least once a year. We like this bench so much, we bought a second one.

It's rare that I order something online (anywhere) and it is exactly as I had hoped. This is one of those exceptions.Not only is this a BEAUTIFUL bench that would look good inside or out, it's REALLY easy to put together.It probably took me 10 minutes to put the 8 screws and nuts in to make a masterpiece!I had zero trouble putting it together, the ONLY thing that I was wondering about is how the bench 'seat' went, as in, which was the front or back.I looked at what is called the "waterfall" where your thighs meet the bench and it appeared to me how I should do it, it worked is all I can say.The instructions on this is, there are none that show what to do in this part of the installation. For someone that isn't a novice at this kind of stuff, it might not be as apparent, but if you 'build' similar stuff in your life it will be super easy to do. The instructions weren't really needed at all.All of my parts were there, none of the bench parts were scratched, the staining was very good, although I can see places that took the stain a little more than others, but it's not hard to fix that.You will not be disappointed at all if you order this!Oh yeah, this is a really great price for something like this!One thing that did bother me was the fact that they don't offer any matching chairs to go with it, I saw some similar that had cushions, but they were a 'set' and I don't need that.

Very pleased with my new bench. Solid and well designed.I was able to put it together by myself without difficulty. You do have to understand the type of screw that is used, and be able to physically maneuver the pieces, as they are heavy, but I had no difficulty by myself. The stain on mine was even with natural variations. It was not wet when I received it, as some reviews have stated, but it does have a dampness/freshness to it that I expect will dry out in the air. The finish is slightly raised, not smooth to the touch, but not so much where you're going to get a splinter either. All pieces/parts were provided and things fit very well together. It will be used in my garage with a cushion for a place to sit down and take off shoes but it certainly could be placed anywhere in or outside of the home. Outside, it's not going to blow away!

This bench feels solid and looks good. There's a bit more color variation in the wood than I had expected, but it doesn't look bad at all. I've already been complimented on it. There was a problem with the delivery and the seller's customer service was super fast and courteous and resolved the problem immediately. I intend to keep it out all year round, so we'll have to see how it withstands changes in weather, but right now it feels like it will last a long time; I will try to follow their suggestion to oil it once a year to make sure. It was easy to assemble.

This beautiful bench really added a quaint and nice look to our garden area. It is very sturdy and was not difficult to assemble. For a bench, it's comfortable too. The only problem I am noticing is over the few weeks that we have had the bench.. it is turning a very light color.. Like it has been bleached by the sun. The material at this point, concerns me as I can see the smooth finish seems a little more rough now and the surface has lost is nice color. With some advice from our local wood and paint store.. I will see what we can do. I still love the bench, it is shaped nicely a good size, and came with no issues at all. It has been extremely hot here with everyday in the 90's and tons of sun... Maybe that was too much for it. I have only had it a few weeks.. So, I'm concerned what it will be like at the end of the season. Cheryl

The bench is lovely. The finish was not what I expected, drips and missing stain, but will redo in Spring. The bench holds 3 people, comfortable. Seems very sturdy, however was not easy to assemble. I had to wait until my son and his wife came over to do it for me. If the instruction had told you how to put the screw in and how to connect to that small round thing, I could have done it. As son as my son saw it and studied for a few minutes, he should me what to do. So instructions need a little work.

The seller, first of all, was amazing in getting a replacement shipped out to me. I have nothing but good things for them. 5 stars. The item itself. Unwrapping, putting together, overall satisfaction. 3 stars. The wood is solid and treated and very sturdy with the main bolts that hold it together. Two issues. 1. There was a screw in the bottom of the box, loose, I set aside until after putting together. Turns out this screw and another that was loose but didn't fall out came out of the slats on the seat and the holes had been ripped out wider than the screw. The screws that you use to finish securing the seat to the bench. They are cheap, and completely take away from the overall product. 4 of them snapped the heads off trying to get them just flush, let alone torqued down to ensure it was solid. I used a screwdriver to do this and just shook my head. These are not the quality screws you should use to hold the seat in place. I will now have to drill new holes and upgraded screws hardware to make sure that this lasts. I would have paid more/extra for better/quality hardware.
