Trader Joe’s Traditional Tunisian Harissa Hot Chili Pepper Paste With Herbs & Spices, 6 oz Jar (Pack of 2)

I was super bummed when Trader Joe's discontinued this product. We put it on everything, but especially sandwiches. So happy to find it on Amazon! I was afraid the expired date would be, like yesterday, but it's a full year out. Score!

There are no real Harissa on Amazon outside of the Kartago brand and the Phare du cap bon... Disappointed as it said Tunisian Harissa on the label but this is pretty bad, not as bad as the Mina brand though... a Tunisian guy 😀

Trader Joe's IS hotter but is loaded with pepper peels that are almost like plastic. Mina Harissa is better.

This product was received damaged. One is unsealed and has leaked. The other jar appears to be intact. Picture included

I used this to color fresh homemade pasta orange and red. It was delicious and smelled great!
