The media could not be loaded.  Worked just as described. You can pick between a few cricket noises or a few annoying tones. Perfect present prank your friends with.

the short: my boss wasted an entire day trying to find it. she almost threw away her pc.the long: she's been torturing me the past few months, so when i saw this i saw revenge. the thing is smaller than you expect making it easy to hide. i set it to a high pitch tone, which yielded better results than i ever could've expected.she thought it was her computer, then when turning it off didn't stop the noise she went to investigating other technology in her office. the printer. the walkie talkies. the calculator. (no, that isn't an exaggeration.) she brought others back there to comb her office for it, but no matter who she enlisted, no one could find the source. seven whole hours later, she brings a new group in. lo, one of them recognized it immediately, having done a similar prank to someone else before. with time they find the well hid device, and all is quiet again.i assume they threw the device away, and I'm alright with that, it was still the best ten bucks I've ever spent. i will not soon forget that glorious day of psychological torture dished out as revenge for her dangerously hateful attitude

It works great but whenever you turn it on it lets out a loud beep or whatever sound you have it set to

I’m not sure why it wants me to rate scent or adhesion since neither of those apply, but this thing works pretty good. A little pricy for what it is but it’s worth it for a laugh.

I was hoping to use this at work to irritate coworkers but the thing didn't work as advertised. The sounds were okay but they were not nearly loud enough for an office environment. The other problem was that it only made a sound about one time per hour. Waste of money and definitely not recommended. I'm returning it.

Cricket sound is so fake and digital sounding. Hardly will pass for a real cricket

It has no adhesive backing but some duct tape takes care of that. It does not have a test/setting mode. So you push the button to set it and may have to wait a hour to hear what you set it to. Took 3 days on and off to get what I wanted. But I did deploy it in my teenage sons room . As a practical joke. 3 days later he is taking anything that had a battery or power source out of his room. He is determined to find out what is making that noise. On day 5 now. I just moved it to the other side of the room since he was zeroing in on it. It's not loud enough to wake him up or keep him from going to sleep. It does make him think and stay off the computer games for now.

Used in a firehouse. Worked as advertised. Firemen got mad!

The two settings for time intervals were still too often. Would have been better if it had a 1 hour setting

my friend has been looking for it for 3 weeks now, and been unplugging and plugging back in all of his electronics trying to find what’s causing the noise. I think I’ll buy another just to mess with him more hahahaha

Bonus is that it also drives pets crazy LOL
