I’m getting sick of wasting time/money like this.
ITS BROKEN OUT OF THE BOX. Just installed it 10 minutes ago and noticed that the center-most LED is out (see video).Besides that, the lights are really dim. LEDs can get very bright and have a low power draw. These things barely illuminate. You would think that they would make them brighter knowing that the cover is tinted, but nope. Also, per the description and reviews, this doesn’t come with a gasket. My original light broke from the sides and the gasket broke on both ends. I ended up wasting a bunch of time making my own gasket for a light that DOESNT WORK!!!!Now I’m supposed to take everything out again, take off my gasket and pay to ship this back. And I’m still out a light lol. This thing is a joke.

Don’t buy. Cheap Plastic fell off
I bought this 1 month ago for my 09 bmw 128i and it looked pretty cool… but the cheap plastic “smoked” part fell off while I was driving. There goes $45 down the drain. Do not buy.

Correct Installation Required
I see a lot of low ratings for this product and believe they are due to being incorrectly installed by the purchaser, as I did myself the 1st time. There are tension springs you need to transfer over from your oem light that install over each post. Do not toss these out or like I did, over tighten the retaining nuts. The springs are there to keep tension on the light and keep it from popping out. If you over tighten it only takes 1-2 warm days of direct sunlight to soften the glue enough combined with too much tension to separate the lense from the housing. The retaining nuts should only be tighten maybe a half turn from feeling when the tension transitions from finger tight and the tension springs should not compress more than 25% of their installed length. I did not determine this until I made the mistake of over tightening myself and really dissecting what the root cause was. Your oem light will eventually do the same if over tightened, it'll just take a little longer due to the higher quality adhesive. This was discovered after a buddy had a similar issue and then also over tightened his OE unit after reinstalling. I've now had a 2nd identical light installed for well over a year with no issues. I'll admit the quality of the housing is not as high as an OE light, but lense seems to be just fine. If you want OE quality, then take the time or pay a tint shop to tint your OEM unit. If you don't care and lucky enough to read this review, order this one. Just my two cents, it holds more value then you'd think. Happy wrenching.

Easy to install, looks great… falls apart.
Went right in just like the old one came out. Need to keep the retaining springs and nuts, but it fits and works great. My only complaint is that it could be brighter… looks great though.1 week later and it’s falling apart.

Fell apart after only being installed for 1 month. Poorly designed!
Had this installed for 1 month. Poorly designed! Connector had to be shaved down just to get the original connector to stay in, which still didn’t lock in place like the original. For the price this was A LOT more work and aggravation than it’s worth for the price

Lens cover separated after two months.
Not only did I have to use electrical tape to hold the connector together because it would not stay connected, the lens fell off the body of the unit after two months. Looks and works just fine when it was working but it needs to last much longer than just two months.

Zero stars. Complete garbage.Any positive review on this product is a lie. This fell apart with a month. Save your money.
