Great product for repairing outdoor cables and cords when a waterproof connection is needed. I fixed my drop cord that is in my retractable reel that I had bought off amazon. A dog had chewed the end right before the outlet and I needed a strong splice connection that was water proof and this was the only solution I found for that. Since its at the end of the drop cord all of the force that is applied to pull out the cable from the reel's housing was being applied at that point so I needed a strong splice that wouldn't allow the wires to pull out when pulling out the cord. This worked great. Very strong splice. Also it had to be water proof and this seems to do that perfectly too.Great product !

From what I can tell, this is one of few junction boxes that I could find that 1) resembled the connection I was repairing and 2) the easiest to use.This junction box allowed for me to repaire a rather expensive light fixture saving me hundreds.It's non-permanent and sturdy design allows the option to extend the cord on this light if needed in the future.Great design, easy, and strong connection.Thanks a bunch.

Easy to figure out for non-electricians and they worked. I used them to put together raw ends of a power wire outside. It has rained quite a bit lately and all is well with this product.. A good "solution" product for splicing wires together.

Wire connector does just what you want it to do. very nicely machined threads on the end hold the wire secure and overall very rigid construction. I need this to join my power cord for the tool box together and if I had another need to have a connection that was waterproof, I would purchase these again.

I put these together (VERY EASY) and the next dar the area was underwater and they worked perfectly, I got the water out and opened them up to check for moisture and zero moisture.. I bought a pile of them and very happy.

This is a great product although I haven't had it long enough to verify it does its primary job.While I would've appreciated something a little smaller, the most important thing is that the internal wire junction box is simply an insert that slides right out so this can be used to protect the connection of factory terminated wires (female to male). In my case, I'm protecting two DC extension cords.The gaskets were malleable enough to squeeze over the ends and return to their original shape while the design allowed them to firmly tighten on the smaller cords. I don't know if it will survive serious weather so applied electrical tape and plastic wrap around the join inside but that's just belt and suspenders mentality since this is three stories off the ground.

Easy to connect!!

Cheaply made. Do not handle bigger wire very well. Hard to get wire to stay locked in place in connector.Does seal nice tho.
