No special seal. Just plastic on glass.
With all the talk about how far above all the rest this is, with how much it costs, and how it's on so many recommended lists... I really expected more. Possibly some special lid or seal? It's just a hard plastic lid on a glass jar. That's it. When you put the lid on, you can feel the grind of plastic on glass.I mean, I suppose it's doing a fine job... I can't smell anything around the seam, until I open it and then oh yeah, I can smell what's stored!So I'm not saying this is bad, but, I suppose that does mean that you can probably just save a lot of money just get any decently made hard plastic on glass container.

So good Iām ordering another. Keeps smells locked in, keeps herb fresh and fluffy. Can probably fit 32 grams of herb or a little more. The bag is good as well, I couldnāt smell anything coming from the bag but my wife said she could a tiny bit.
