My daughter and I had the chance to go to the Louvre this summer, and I love building block sets, so I excitedly ordered this as a new project. I was not quite prepared for just how small micro mini blocks are, but I am now hooked! I have ordered another set from this same seller/brand, and cannot wait to start on that one. The detail in this set was fantastic! I was missing one piece but was able to make do with an extra in another color (and it ended up behind a sticker, so it all worked out!). Highly recommend if you like building block sets and are maybe wanting to "up your game" (and maybe your frustration level?!). It is worth noting that, unlike a certain name brand, these are not in bags by instruction order. You do not open bag 1, follow the instructions for several steps using only those blocks, and then move on to bag 2 and the next set of steps. Rather, this will require you to use blocks from more than one bag per step. I ended up using trays to keep the different "bags" separate (as the bags are still, more or less, by style of block, if that makes sense?).

My teenage son had fun making the model. Once it is built it looks spectacular.The pieces are very small, so it's not for kids, and some adults might get frustrated too. It takes patience and determination to build it. But my son was busy for three afternoons during the holidays - which was nice.

I absolutely love the design of this brick set, it's gorgeous and fun to build. The bricks are tiny but the set comes with a special pair of tweezers that makes grabbing and inserting small pieces a breeze and avoids hurting fingers from constantly pushing the bricks in. I love that it has so many tiny pieces because I like to prolong the entertainment (it's so relaxing!) rather than have a set I can finish in a couple of hours, and it occupies less space than larger bricks. I would give this set 5 stars if not for the annoying problem of missing pieces.One of the missing pieces was a very large one and not replaceable by smaller ones of the same color (there were any extras for that color), and using a different color would ruin the design. I emailed the manufacturer through their website and after a lot of back and forth (they claimed to have mailed the piece but it must have gotten lost) I finally received it in the mail almost a month later. They were responsive and did send me the right piece, but it was irritating not to be able to work on the set for so long as it sat there unfinished. Towards the end I found more missing pieces and ended up replacing with a different color and rotated the set to avoid looking at the eyesore of the mismatch since I did not want to go through the process again. If not for that, it would be my favorite so far.

I'm a 75 year old woman who loves putting these micro mini sets together. I've done several and dovob sets are my favorite! This one was challenging, but with my bifocals and a magnifying app on my phone I could decipher the instructions. I see complaints on all of the sets about missing pieces -- it has NEVER happened to me. I have always had all the pieces, plus extras. I would not recommend the micro-mini blocks for young kids. My 7 year old grandson was supposed to help me with the first set I did, but he didn't have the dexterity. Thank you dovob for providing tweezers in 2 of the sets I've done. I would recommend they be put in all sets.

EDIT: Got the missing piece sent to me via mail. Everything is perfect. Thanks.I enjoyed putting this together. The pieces are micro. The instructions are good. It did not take very long to put together. The larger base pieces are warped but usable. There are many extra pieces BUT missing one piece in the front that makes it annoying for me to look at. Emailed the company but have not heard anything back. Made the Eiffel Tower from the same company which was way harder to put together. Will probably complete the Paris theme with similar micro block products. (I will raise the ratings to 5 stars if the company will send me the missing piece...otherwise like I said it is annoying to look at)

The model is great. But ... I have done many micro-Lego models. This one had the absolute worst instructions. There was no way to see where pieces ended in the instructions. I had to wing half of it. In addition, there weren't too many extra pieces.My recommendation - find a different brand of micro building blocks to purchase.

My son was unable to finish due to it was missing pieces, I tried email the company and never got anything back. Assembly was difficult. I don't think it was worth the money I paid. Design looked nice.

This is the first micro set I’ve done and for the price it’s great! Instructions were fairly straightforward and it even came with tweezers to assist with putting together the smallest pieces. There were a couple pieces that didn’t fit properly but since there’s so many spare pieces I was just able to grab a new one. Pretty satisfied with how it came together and would definitely recommend it!
