Remove the unit from the outlet and remove the front cover by first pulling away the tabs on the bottom of the unit. 2. Remove the used filter and dispose of it in the garbage. Place new filter into the front cover with the black carbon layer facing the front cover. 3. Reattach the front cover of the unit and securely latch into place. Push and hold the night light control button for 3 seconds to reset the filter change indicator.
