Edit 2: I have been using this case for months. I have had no problems with overheating. I have not modified it in any way. I still love this case and would buy it againI am so glad they released this case for the oled switch. It fits perfectly. I take my switch with me often, the cover protects everything while its in my bag. I love that the cover is detectable. The case is well made and the grips are comfortable, they have a nice texture. The cases makes the switch a bit heavier but, worth it.Edit 1: Others are concerned about the lack of vent cut-outs. I have been using this case for hours at a time for multiple weeks. I have had no problems with overheating. I agree, it would be good for them to add vents but, it’s been fine for me. If I find it becomes a problem for me in the future, I will update this review.

This case is perfect. It feels like luxury product in my hands and I love the removable cover. The magnet is strong enough to hold the cover in place when closed and I like how I can remove it while using my switch.Things to remember: it doesn't fit in the switch dock. Its a little difficult to get in and out, but I dont really sepperate my joycons from the console, so its perfect for me.I like the sturdy feel in my hands, the case actually feels like it could handle a drop and protect my switch.I cam just flip it closed and go without worrying of damaging the surface. I would recommend.

This isn’t perfect, as it does lack the necessary cutouts for the intake vents and speakers, but it does feel really nice and is relatively comfortable. I have been playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses for the past three hours with it on and my OLED has not gotten hot or overheated, just a bit warm on the right side. Albeit Three Houses isn’t the most trying game on the system to test out the overheating risk, but the fact that I was able to play a game for three hours with the Switch getting just a little warm is reassuring. It also fits just fine, a bit tight to get on but it definitely fits, you just have to insert the Switch trigger buttons first. Overall a three out of five for me, as it could be worse but it could also be better.

I like how the case fits and feels on the Switch OLED. It has a dry, cloth-like, rigid feeling rather than the rubbery feeling silicone has. It definitely isn't perfect, but I think I'll keep it and use it for a while until I have a better idea of what I'm missing and what I can live without.Pros:- Comes with a flip cover and screen protector.- Tempered glass screen protector is sized well, clear, and slick.- Case has a good feel on first touch. It looks and feels nice.Cons:- The cutouts line up nice, BUT there are no cutouts for the bottom vents!- The magnetic cover requires fidgeting to keep it aligned so the clip will engage.- The magnetic cover came with a scratch on the clip and on the fabric for the magnetic cover.- The glass screen protector doesn't come with film adhered to the front, so the alignment stickers don't hold well during installation.Final thoughts: This case won't work with the dock or kickstand. That was sufficiently explained in the product description so it doesn't really count as a con. Ultimately this is a return because of the lack of proper vents.

Saw this as a way to thin out my console while traveling. Looked for a thinner case with better grip and this was it. Feels nice and grippy, the screen cover can flap backwards without disconnecting due to pretty strong magnets, but a solid tug on the screen cover while open, will disconnect it. Feels great in hand, could be placed into a backpack or travel bag, and all ports and important bits will be covered.

Perfect for my little toddler!The magnetic cover comes off easily and just as simple to put it back on! The case keeps it safely protected and it’s sleek and beautiful. We love this case!

I was excited to have a case with a flip cover just a few days after getting my OLED Switch. Sadly this case lacks cutouts for the intake vents that are positioned right below the kickstand. In the attached image, the vents are highlighted in red. The case simply has a solid back with no cutouts for these vents. I am not willing to risk overheating and battery damage, so I will be returning this case.Otherwise, the material seems like your typical matte black TPU, and the grips on the back are decent enough. And for anyone wondering, this case is not dockable, meaning the Switch does not fit in the dock with this case on, even with the new dock that is included with the OLED switch.

I am not sure how they missed adding necessary cut outs for vital intake vents.
