Not for Hook and Loop backing plate.
The quality of the product seems on point, but a rubber backing plate and nut (DW4990) is required for use with Dewalt polishers. Gave it 3 stars as the product did advise thats its not for use with hook and loop backung plate. I sourced a DW4990 on EBAY so I'll update the review once I receive and test it.
