A lil thick to just decinegrate but close . Rust quick and fall apart . Looking into different options

This is a piece of junk. It was all rusty and falling apart just after a week of using it.

Worked great, but I had to apply lots of elbow ...
Just used it to clean off our stainless steel BBQ grates with some old burnt-in char and grunge. Worked great, but I had to apply lots of elbow grease! I've tried all sorts of fancy BBQ cleaners: including grate rod "floss", steel brushes with bristles, steel brushes without bristles... all failed to clean anywhere close to what I was able to do with these good old steel wool pads. Yes I had to scrub, but it was worth the results. My grates look almost new. I also have discovered the trick - take off the grates after EACH use and clean them to avoid built-up, burned-in gunk.

An Answer to Constant Disappointment
I have been frustrated about the lack of durability and small fiber size of steel wool for years, until I found this product. I have been using these for regular dish scouring for about 9 months and I wouldn't buy anything else. They really have the traction I want when trying to remove burnt-on food from cast iron and forgotten rice.EDIT: I still have one left after close to four years. This may be the most economical thing I've ever bought.
