Crimson Trace Laserguard Hellcat with Instinctive Activation for Springfield Armory Hellcat Pistols, Defensive Shooting and Competition

I had a different brand of laser on my Hellcat. I found it disappointing and unreliable. However the Crimson Trace has been phenomenal. The fit is absolutely amazing as if it was designed by the gun manufacturer. The laser trigger on the grip feels great and you don't accidentally waste the laser battery. Speaking of battery, one of the best features on this unit is the fact that you do not need any sort of screwdriver to replace the battery. There is a slot on the bottom of the laser which you can move with your thumb to access the battery compartment. Genius!

Crimson Trace doesn't make models for EVERY gun but when they make one it is the best. Sure, you should train to shoot without a laser but having one means advantage YOU.Plus, I find the laser is an excellent point and shoot dry fire option training method. Point and then engage the laser and REALLY SOON your "instinctive shooting" especially at 20 feet just becomes really, well instinctive. A real confidence builder for the unfortunate time you don't have the laser. Of course we all know NEVER do the dry fire exercies pointing a weapon at anything you are not willing to destroy - SAFTEY.I put Crimson Trace lasers on any handgun I own that I can. The laser training I use with them transfers to the ones that won't fit the laser. Muscle memory and all that.If CT makes one that fits your gun. Buy it. If you don't buy it, convince somone to buy it for you (Birthday and so on).Regardless of why you're pulling the trigger...well placed shots...well you know the rest.

My hellcat OSP feels sooooo nice with this thing on. Don't think just grip the stock and its lit :) Now to find the right holsters.

I have had great luck with Crimson Trace products in the past, including LaserGuards for various pistols I’ve owned. I was really excited to find a laserguard for the Springfield Hellcat, but it doesn’t seem to live up to previous Crimson Trace products. I almost wonder if this is a counterfeit being sold on Amazon.When installed (and I’ve taken it on and off a number of times to try to correct this), the guard doesn’t sit straight on the rails. It’s a little bit “cockeyed” on the diagonals. When you screw the halves together, depending on how much you torque the screws, you’ll shift the position right or left when it’s complete (and no, I’m not talking about the alignment screws. You can get it aligned well before screwing the halves together, but once you do, the imperfect rail catch makes the final installation misaligned.It’s close enough…I mean, you’ll hit center mass, but it’s not going to plink the centers out of targets to be sure. This is a disappointment to the Crimson Trace line.

Easy to install and zero. Looks factory. Very happy.

Overall an excellent product. Works well. Zeros well. Good battery access for replacement with unit installed. Instructions for install and battery polarity were written by an idiot.

Will not fit the Hellcat Pro because of the trigger guard is different. I still give it 5 stars because I have 2 other guns with the laserguard and I am very happy with them

Directions are very easy and product fits like it was from factory.
