Excellent read if you like his work, especially Columbo
When you read you can absolutely hear his voice and laughter. He writes in mostly short (half page to 1 and 1/2 pages at a time), funny anecdotes, that are very entertaining and give you some real insight into his life and choices. It would be possible to read this in a day, but it makes more sense to enjoy it slowly over time. In combination with his Columbo DVD series, which I was watching simultaneously, it's a wonderful trip back in time.
