Useful and good price
Finally received the product and the shipment was so fast which was one day earlier. I have not had any problem with this item at all. It works just as it should. It's small and convenient for travel. I would 100 % recommend this for anyone who travels a lot. It's super nice to have all these options at your fingertips.Although this product is not something I will use all the time, it definitely comes in handy every once in a while. It has been helpful for getting photos off my phone onto my computer. All I have to do is take the SD card and insert it into the slot and plug it into my computer. It downloads very fast. The USB fits into my computer very nice. I would recommend it to those who need it. I may only use it a couple of times per year but for those times it comes in handy. And last thing I need to say that only sold $4.99, which is so cheap to buy this little useful thing.

very nice little gadget; well thot-out; perfect for transferring pix to Fire
I got this to transfer pix to my Fire, using a micro card (card does not come with this device). It turns out I could have skipped the micro card bcs the micro USB plug fits the Fire and transfer is effortless. My plan was to copy pix onto the micro card and insert it into the Fire, but I didn't need this step. I just plugged the device into my computer with the regular USB port end and treated it like an external drive (which it is, of course!). Copied pix directly onto it and then plugged it into my Fire using the micro USB plug. Port on top, by the power button. (Fire 5.0)Nice quality. Like that both micro and regular USB ports have firm-fitting covers. Getting some more for stocking stuffers for Christmas. You won't be disappointed. mb

Works great with Amazon Fire 8 Tablet. I scanned 178 pics and kept 3 in less than 10 minutes.
Got it to see the pics taken by my new AUCEE Tracker Trail Camera, 16MP 1080P 120° PIR Sensor Wildlife Hunting Camera 65ft Infrared Scouting Camera with Night Vision 46pcs IR LEDs, IP56 Waterproof 0.2s Trigger Time Game Camera. It didn't work yet with my Android phone nor Chromebook. However it work great with my Amazon Fire 8 tablet. Just remove the mini disc and put into the charging out let of the Fire Tablet. After you turn on the Fire Tablet it will allow you to log on to the new disk site. At first you see clear minatures of the pics taken the night before. Then when you touch a pick with your stylus, it becomes larger and very clear.Next if there are any pict you want to just touch with a stylus and save to your Prime Photo Album. If you want to print a copy of the pic, you can easily do with the Fire Tablet and HP Cloud Print print app in B/W or color.Out of 178 pics I saved 3. When I put my mini disc back into my new Field Camera, I deleted all of the files on the disc. It is ready for the next night's use.Trying to review pics in the small screen in a field camera, it becomes a big time consumer and headache. Using this great little gadget, the entire process took about 10 minutes. The enlarged and clear pics on the Fire tablet enabled me make a quick evaluation to save or forget. 170 never got pass the mini pics.

Great price + Did exactly what I needed
This little thing did exactly what I needed it to do. My phone has suddenly stopped recognizing the Micro SD card on which I store all my pictures. I needed a way to access the card and download all that stuff to my Windows 10 computer. This worked perfectly.I was concerned at first because there aren't really any instructions that come with the reader, and it seemed that my Micro SD card was too wide to fit into the slot provided. Turns out that you have to insert the card side-first. Thing is, it didn't look like that was going to fit either (slot too large) but ended up working because of the little "bump" on the bottom of the card. And now that I look at the product photo again, it shows the card going in sideways, so duh. Card slides in and there's a gentle "click" so you know it's seated correctly. Pulls right out when you're done reading it.Also, the USB end of the reader was a little difficult to get inserted into my computer, but gentle pressure got it to work. It's definitely a "snug" fit.

Absolutely PERFECT!!!!
I love this card reader. I bought this to download pictures from my game cam to my phone. I actually now am the proud owner of 3 of these perfect little things. This is a very quick and easy way to transfer pics to my phone, tablet, and laptop. The only "flaw" with it is that I have to remove my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Otterbox case from my phone to insert the end. It is a wee bit too short....BUT, who cares??? It works wonderfully and I am sure I will be purchasing a few more of these to have handy. You can NOT beat the price. I did have a question about one and I was able to contact the seller and got a very quick response back! No issues at all! I highly recommend this product! 110%!

NOT usb-c
even though one of the product pictures says “type c” … it is only usb-a and mini-usb, the description and spec says so … bottom line read all descriptions and specifications for all products on Amazon… some vendors add a lot of words and poor english to mislead buyers in the hopes that the buyer will not spend the time and effort to return a inexpensive item

Handy and useful gadget.
When I came across and saw this on Amazon, I had to get it to see how it works or if it would work. After reading the description of this device, I went ahead and got it. All you have to do is insert your memory card into the correct slot and plug it in a lab top or desk top and you will be able to read those cards by using this device. I don't know if it read all kinds of memory cards. You would have to find that out from the description of the product or the company who made toe COASD Memory Card Reader. I just knew it would read all of the cards and my children's cards that I have at my home and why I purchased it.
