Very soft blanket, does not have that crinkly plastic sound like most waterproof items. I bought Gray and the color is beautiful. We have a 13 yr old Australian Kelpie, named Lexy. She's a little slow to get out the door in the morning nowadays. If she tinkles, the blanket is on the bed to catch it. The liquid does not leak through and it washes up nicely.I’m actually buying a second one in Dark Gray as a back up. Highly recommended.

I actually bought this because I needed a waterproof blanket for myself & at first i was very skeptical. The waterproof part is very true. I poured alot of water on it and it did not soak through!!! This blanket actually just seems like a normal soft blanket and you would never know its waterproof. The downsides are that it is like two separate blankets sewn at the ends so the they move alot from each other. The other downside is that there is a certain area where it is not waterproof and it is where they decided to sew the paw onto the waterproof blanket side. When I did the water test on different parts of the blanket that was the only area where it seeped through. Other than that this exceeded my expectations. Would def buy another

My cats have exquisite taste. They will only play in the finest of boxes and require very specific (and unknown to anyone but them) specifications for bedding. 10% polyester? No thank you. Too soft on the paws? Pass. Wrong shade of blue? Hahahahahahahahaha they laugh.All of them however, including my toothless one eyed former feral cancer surviving badass Reaper (pic) have taken to this blanket within 24 hours. I no longer fear them mocking me for my feline bedding purchases, but am slightly concerned that the blanket will eventually become the point of contention for some kind of feline Thunderdome situation if I don’t buy more.

I love this blanket and will probably order an additional one. However, please be aware that the zig-zag stitching around the edge of the blanket (essentially an almost basting-thick thread) started to almost immediately come loose from the blanket. When I discovered this, there was about 2-3 feet of loose thread dangling from the blanket. With an active puppy, if this had been ingested, there would have been serious health challenges. My advice for anyone purchasing this blanket, immediately remove this unneeded stitching. Not sure why anyone designing items for dogs would think this was remotely a good idea. Setting aside, for the moment, this horrible design flaw, the blanket itself is wonderfully soft and all of my pups seem to enjoy snuggling down and making little beds. the plush side most likely retains some scent which provides some nice comfort for my newest little foster. If the manufacturer ever reads these review, please change how you do the edge stitching. Otherwise, great blanket that your pup will enjoy!

Was not waterproof at all. I assumed the colored side was waterproof, and the fluffy side was not. Confirmed that neither sides are waterproof. Absorbed pet urine instantly. This is just an expensive blanket.

I've had this blanket on my sofa for several months now and it's been tested too many times by my temperamental cat already. I can definitely say it's totally waterproof and that it washes like a charm. It's so soft that my other (non-peeing) cat likes to sleep on it when he can. I especially really like that it comes in pink and not just the usual boring neutral colors that other waterproof pet blankets are in. I'm actually ordering second blanket for my bed.

Use this to protect my small leather couch in our camper van. Tested this out with water and works well. Soft and water resistant. I wash this on gentle (waterproof option on my washer too) and then allow it to air dry a bit (it holds water in so can be too wet for my dryer) so I hang it or place on chairs to dry a bit. When it's damp enough and not as heavy, I put these in my dryer (have 2) and put on air dry (air fluff) no heat and I've been able to maintain the integrity of the blankets. I've washed and used this multiple times within the month. My senior dogs love it and so do I. I have two 5 lbs dogs so I know this will repel their urine . Not sure about large amounts of urine...but it's been so good that I just ordered my 3rd one. I have a queen size one from another manufacturer (wish these came In queen, it's an odd size) and the other one i have is very slippery and not comfortable so I really appreciate the softness of this blanket that feels like fleece on both sides.

This isn’t even waterproof doubled up nor water resistant. The positive reviews are either bs paid ones or they got a completely different product. congratulations on buying a low quality thin wool type that’s overpriced for especially considering you bought it to be waterproof.. ur better off just buying any cheap blanket or go to ur fabric store and cut off some wool fabric for 6.

Absolutely brilliant, bought it for guinea pigs going on the bed, super soft and no leaking through, totally protects anything underneath the blanket from getting wet, great quality, super soft and machine washable, wash mine every day and still in great condition, highly recommended for any pets great purchase well worth the money,

I ordered 3 of these for my couches and have washed them each 3 times, together with nothing else. Cold water, low spin, and hang dry. The inside waterproof layer has disintegrated and these blankets are now leaving a fine white poly dust all over my stuff, they are no longer waterproof and are causing more trouble than benefit which really sucks because they were VERY expensive. On the good side, they are really soft.

Itf absolutey brilliant and does exactly as it says it does. Only negative is length oftie it takes to wash and tumbledry.

I bought this blanket to protect my bed from my dog jumping up and making it dirty and/or wet. I feel like it’s a decent blanket, but probably only worth the price if it’s totally waterproof.The coloured side is a lot shinier than I expected (see picture). Also, despite them providing dimensions, it seems smaller than I thought it would be. I measured it and it is 60x50 (or maybe 59x49) but because the top and bottom layer of the blanket kind of move independently, it bunches up making it look smaller.Otherwise, I’m generally happy with the blanket. It’s quite soft, not too thick or too thin, and doesn’t feel super obviously like a waterproof blanket. I can’t talk to the waterproof-ness, durability, or wash-ability because I haven’t tested any of that yet.

Compré este producto hace un mes, dos lavadas en ciclo delicado con jabón normal y suavisante le costaron para perder su función impermeable... Compré tres cobijas porque tengo una gata muy molesta que le encanta orinarse en el sillón... Como es muy dificil contratar limpieza continua del sofá, pensé que esto sería buena idea sin que se viera taan feo mi sofá, ningun cubre sofa me ha funcionado y pensé que esto sería más util que ponerle un cubre cama impermeable al sofá. Bueno, seguiré con el cubre cama porque estas cobijas ya no sirven... son bastante suaves, pero tampoco son la gran cosa como para pagar prácticamente 1000 pesos por la versiñón más "grande".
