Best Tires On The Market
I've been riding on Drifters for the past few years and have never had a problem. The Drifter with FPS (Flat Protection System) is one of the best tires on the market, esp for the price. On this particular purchase I bought 2 new tires for $31/ea and saved over $20 because they were offered in "Like New" condition, both were brand new AND arrived early (nice work Amazon!) The inverted tread gives the best of both worlds with a slick, fast ride on pavement/hard pack and good traction on gravel, sand and light trail conditions. They perform well on wet surfaces as well. They're fast, quiet, and provide plenty of grip on the streets and light trails in San Diego. They look great on my bike and feel great too! They're also very durable and prevent flats in situations where other tires I've ridden on would not. Installation can be tricky but I've learned that if you inflate your tubes a little prior to installing it helps set the wire bead much easier bcuz they're very sturdy tires on and off the rim. I used to ride on Continental Town & Country's but they started making that model in India instead of Germany and the quality was no longer there, esp on the sidewalls. The Serfas Drifters are a superior replacement and I haven't found another tire that comes close. I ride at 55psi and put approx 6000 miles on my last set with plenty of tread left. Hands down the best tire on the market, imho.

Fast rolling, enjoying... 117 miles and counting
Written on May 6thEnjoyed another 3 hour bike ride, that was 40 miles... that's 3 rides totaling 117 miles so far on these tires, and they still look very good and are performing same as day 1.Will continue riding 30-70 mile rides all Spring/Summer... and will try come back periodically with updates on durability and longevity. On day 1, for the first few miles, the new tires were sticky and tossed tiny rocks (pebbles) into the down tube. They are no longer sticky enough to toss pebbles, but they haver PLENTY of grip for corners and climbing on dry pavement.I haven't ridden off-road enough to comment much on their off-road performance, and I try not to ride in the rain, so I can't say how they perform on wet pavement. I've ridden only a handful of miles on flat crushed gravel trails and the Serfas Drifter tires rolled over that gravel at a steady 18 mph, smooth and fast, just like it was pavement.Written on May 3rdI can't speak about the durability or longevity of these tires yet, but I'm loving them so far... 77 miles and counting. These Serfas Drifter tires replaced the gravel tires on my Salsa Journeyman, and COMPLETELY changed the feel. Now I actually LOVE my bike and have enjoyed them greatly on a couple 37 & 40 mile bike rides. My Salsa felt sluggish on the original gravel tires, but the Serfas Drifter tires at 60 PSI make my bike feel TOTALLY different, fast and nimble... a joy to ride far and fast.Inspiring.Hopefully, they last a long time... I'll be riding thousands of miles this year and next, including a few 100 mile bike rides this Summer alone.

5 on my Cannondale Bad Boy 4
I had a set of kojak schwalbe 27.5 on my Cannondale Bad Boy 4. They puncture easy. I had two flats in less than 60 miles on a new bike. Most of my riding was on asphalt bike trails with very little hard pack.I had the tires replaced with Serfas Drifters. So far I have not had a problem in a short period of time, with the drifters. I have these Serfas Drifters mounted on two other bikes, with no punctures. They are a great tire with plenty of tread and very little roll resistance. I have ridden these tires on hard pack to asphalt. They are a good tire for all around riding whether on or off road.I have ridden these on a 29er 2017 Trek X-cal 8 (29x2.0), 1993 Cannondale M700 (26x2.0), 2018 Cannondale Bad Boy 4 (27.5x1.5).
