Toller WC-Trainer

Great Low-Priced Solution for Parents and Toddlers
My wife and I looked around at all kinds of little toilets and toilet helpers for our little toddler. He's 2-1/2-and-change and is about ready for potty training. Being our only child, this is new territory for us. We looked at all kinds of toddler toilets and toilet seats, some expensive and some cheap. Our first thought was, the more expensive, the better. We assumed the adage "you get what you pay for" would apply here. For us, it didn't--not at all!I'm glad I did my homework. We almost purchased a much more expensive potty for him. We decided not to get a toddler toilet mainly because it's rather disgusting having to empty it out and clean. Also, our bathroom is small and there's a space issue with where to put his toilet. Instead, I set aside a few evenings to research on Amazon tons of potty options for him. I read probably hundreds of user reviews and finally settled on this seat. I showed it to my wife and we discussed it together. The reviews were very good and it appeared the product would fit our situation really well. With our child, he's been interested in the toilet for a while. He goes in and likes to flush it incessantly. If we don't keep an eye on him, he'll unroll the toilet paper all over the floor and try and stuff it in the toilet (OMG!!!). He's watched us use the toilet and it makes him want to use it, so we put him on it and he just sits there with a smile on his face, not knowing what to do. Of course, at this stage, we had to hold him closely, since his little bottom would fall into the seat.So we purchased this Pourty Flexi-Fit trainer toilet seat, which would fit onto our existing toilet seat. This would enable him to do his business just like mommy and daddy do. He seems interested in copying us and going the same way we do, so this seemed like a logical solution to us. We have a little step-up stool in the bathroom he uses to reach the sink. We put that at the base of the toilet, so he can step up and get himself on the seat, with our help, of course. I kept my fingers crossed and we patiently waited two days for the trainer seat to arrive. At only about $16, I was skeptical this would be a good solution, but also hopeful. According to my research, this *should* work well. The Pourty seat arrived and we immediately unboxed and unwrapped it, then I figured out how to get this to work on our elongated toilet seat. It has two tabs on the underside-rear of the seat that are adjustable. You move these to match the dimensions of your seat, then when you place the Pourty Flexi-Fit seat on your toilet seat, these tabs bend back a little and slip in place, holding your toddler's seat snugly against the inner edge of the toilet seat. It actually works really well. It doesn't slip-slide forward or back or side-to-side. When you take it off, you just lift and the tabs bend, allowing you to pull the toddler seat off. Since it's small and thin, it's easily stored for later use.We put our toddler on the seat and he smiled, but didn't do anything to make us proud. So we talked to him and told him to tell us when he needed to go number 1 or number 2.So what did he do? He started telling us when he did 1 or 2 after he was done. He didn't understand the order of operations. We didn't pressure him about it, understanding that he doesn't understand yet the difference between telling us "before" as opposed to "after".We finally had success at bath time. One day while asking him to go while sitting on his potty seat, before bath time, he didn't go. So we put him in the tub. The moment his little feet hit the warm water, he started peeing. So we had an idea. The toilet is right across from the tub. The next day, before his bath, we put him on his potty seat, where he could also see the tub. He didn't pee. So we turned the water on in the tub and he peed! It was his first time. We showered him in tons of praise and love, telling him how proud we were in him, and that he's now just like mommy and daddy. He beamed from ear-to-ear, so happy! He's since done this two more times. So he's on his way to learning how to go just like the big people go.And we're here to report that the Pourty Flexi-Fit training seat works great! It's working very well for us. For the price, this is a fabulous option for parents that we heartily recommend. Don't be intimidated by the cheap price. This is a product that actually is an excellent, low-price option for parents with toddlers who are ready to learn to go just like the big people do.

Excellent seat for tiny bottoms!
My two year old is really tiny, and she feels very happy on this seat which fits really well on our toilet. It is easy to move the parts to make the seat fit, and there is no wobble at all. It is also really quick and easy to take it on and off the toilet seat so adults can use the loo, and light enough for my daughter to put it on herself. The seat supports her really well and she doesn't need to be held by anyone else whilst sitting on the pourty. We have the Tommee Tippitoes mini toilet, where you can put the seat onto a normal toilet, but my daughter doesn't like it as it moves around all over the place is not secure at all.Someone mentioned in another review that they were unhappy as it did not fit their rectangular toilet, on the pourty website they actually state that it does not fit well on rectangular toilets so do bear that in mind when purchasing. So good I have just ordered another one for the downstairs loo!

Sehr empfehlenswert!
