We love our tonie. It’s worth the money! It’s easy to set up and for the kids easy to use. They are able to play their music so early themselves and entertain themselves. The site is good. Color is good.

Totally engaging. Can be dropped, thrown, and sat on (by 1 yr old). This is the 2nd one purchased. One yr and 6 yrs old. Both enjoy them tremendously. This toy actually can grow with the child. Will be purchasing more as the # of grandchildren expands. Worth every penny. The quality exceeds other similar items. Great for nighttime lullabies or stories.

My husband and I gave our Granddaughter the Tonie Box Starter Set with the puppy Tonie for her 2nd birthday. She LOVES it! It's the perfect size for her and she can remove the Box from the charger and place it back on without issue. The music quality is good. She loves placing her other Tonies on top of the Box to listen and dance to the different songs each Tonie plays. Excellent gift for toddlers.

Such a fun toy for really all ages. Can take the box anywhere. Separate characters are slightly expensive but comes with a character that includes alot of songs. Chargeable.

My kid loves this but it takes a fair amount of fiddling to keep working. For context, I write software and debug tech for a living, and it takes me some effort to get this working. A few trouble areas:• There is no screen, just color codes and audio. You (and your child) need to memorize physical tilts, hits (with way more force than expected), squeezes, and flips to interact with the device. The feedback loop is usually just a tone and something hopefully happens.• The device frequently says "Uh Oh... look up the code (code name)" and I have to go to the internet for information. It then tells me the series of interactions needed to fix it.• When the internet is spotty it doesn't work, which leads to disappointed kids who don't understand why it won't play.• The only way to charge this is via a wired dock, which is not safe for young children. We have to charge it for them.• It doesn't work on 5g, so you may need to reconfigure your internet to only use 2.4g - particularly if your access point combines both frequencies into one named network instead of two.• It requires an app and account to work, which is odd for a product that uses physical minis for audio.• Placing a new mini on the device starts the download, and you must wait to listen, which can take several minutes, and kids might be disappointed by the silence.Some pros:• Putting toys on a speaker is an easy way for kids to have agency and enjoy their music and books (when it works).• It is padded enough that it is unlikely to physically break in the first couple years of normal level use.• It's max volume can be limited via the required app.• It is easy for people to pick up minis as gifts if they know you have one of these.
