Very Happily Surprised Massage Therapist! (+ 6 month update!)
Great for home use. Now that that has been said, I've been a licensed massage/manual therapist for over 28 years and have fought using any tools. Every tool I've ever tried has been cumbersome, uncomfortable and made me feel disconnected from my client/patient during the treatment. Unfortunately, between practicing full time, and now teaching massage, the deep tissue work is starting to take a toll on my joints, to the point that I've even dislocated a couple fingers! I ordered these (along with a matching set of different shapes) on Prime Day, hoping that I'd be able to use one or two of them, when I was really hurting. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. I am SO happy I decided on these! To begin with, the set is absolutely beautiful! The color is not the cheap, sort-of-pinkish-quartz that I was half expecting for the price. They are a lovely, soft but vivid pastel pink - like rose quartz should be, and come with a nice little velvet bag for storage, or carrying them without risking damage. The bag is a little small if you're carrying all of them, but because of the drawstring top, I haven't had one slip out yet during transport. The craftsmanship of each piece is obvious, each one is perfectly smooth, making them comfortable against my patients skin, and my hands. Size wise, they are a little smaller than I expected, so I was fairly shocked that they fit in my hands so nicely and comfortably! (I'm pretty average, 5'4" and wear a medium winter glove, but prefer a small surgical glove.) But, what has surprised me the most though is that I am actually getting feedback through them! Because of the design I can actually easily feel trigger points, spasms, tightness and other soft tissue issues/distortions. They are fantastic for deep work as they slide into the tissue without a problem, and my patients have said that if it wasn't for the initial coolness when first put to the skin (which they say is also nice) the wouldn't be able to tell that I was using a tool at all. Once they warm up, even the "pointy" ends and edges are as comfortable as a "stiff locked thumb" (as one patient put it), but way, way more comfortable for me! Another plus is that because of the different shapes, and compact size, its easy enough to get into really small/tight areas, such as the base of a 10 year old girl's neck while she's in supine (face up). As I use oil most of the time, they can get a little slick, but its not a big problem and so far I haven't dropped one, with cream the slip is even less of a issue. They clean up quickly, and, because of the rose quartz, are easy to disinfect. Overall, I'm thrilled! The only real drawback I can see with them is that, even though they are sturdy enough that I'm not the slightest bit concerned about snapping one through pressure, they will probably shatter the first time they are dropped (or get flipped off the table). The slim design that makes them so nice to use, is probably going to be their downfall. I'm really hoping that won't be for a while, but I'll try to update after the first one hits the floor to let everyone knows what happens. (Until then figure no news is good news!) Thank you for a great little handful of tools, a great relief for my joints - I will be recommending them to my students.UPDATE: I've been using these for 6 months now, am still just as happy with them as I was in the beginning and thrilled to report that I have not broken or chipped a single piece. I did purchase 2 slightly different sets and do use some pieces from each set more than others, I'd absolutely buy both sets again and have recommended them to, or purchased them as gifts for, other therapists and my students. These are great!

Love these. Best used with a oil or something to glide on the skin. Not for heavy handed, clumsy people as they can break.
I like getting gua sha done, but I don't like the cost of someone doing it. So, I got these.I use them on my ankle area (they tend to swell up as I am older) so I do as the PT/massage did and use these to rub the skin in the direction up the leg. Aside from getting the fluids to drain as they should, it feels pretty good. So I rub them against my arms up the arm and the calves up the calf. Like a teeny little massage. Why rose quartz? I like the color. I don't know if I would get again as they are a little more delicate than I am. Maybe next time the buffalo horn or steel as they would be better for me. I have to focus to set the quartz down very carefully and put them and their little bag away out of harm. These are real stone so they have teeny little niches where honing down the stone cannot remove all of the natural facets of the stone. That could be a problem if you use on your face and they scratch it.Aside from that, I love these. Flaws and all.I primarily use the curved one with the three bumps. I don't really know what to do with the one with the notch out of the top and the long spoon like one just seems like I will snap it due to my not delicate ways. I think this one would be best for face use as you have to use it gently and that would be good for the face to be gentle.I use them at nice to relax before sleep. If you wonder how to use, you can google. You are probably not going to get the red marks that some get in the pictures, but be careful on yourself. I used to get that red from the paid gua sha person, but they also were leaning into it a little more than I can.

Best thing on the market since sliced bread!! Excellent packaging! Great for massage therapists!!
These are the best tools money can buy for massage therapists! They are excellent for neck, ankle, face, and foot work. They really save your hands. Just make sure to use a little oil with them :)The quality is excellent, but you must baby them when washing and storing. Support the structure of them while using, and you will have them for a long time. The rose quartz is beautiful; and the package/box they come in keeps them from clanging together.Well worth the money paid! $$I got some black ones from a different company, and was sadly disappointed in the other company's product and packaging...

Your face will like it
Re-order arrived this morning (11/8/17) in perfect condition (first order arrived broken 10/27/17). Used one of the long tools 30 minutes later after I washed and moisturized my face. It glides over my face gently, easily. Fits comfortably in corners, curved or flat facial areas and even felt warm after using it for just a few minutes. Tools are smaller than expected, but worth the price. Great products.

Bummer
So I was really hoping to up my gua sha game and in looking for a new set I found this one and the reviews really couldn't be beat. When I came home to it on my porch I was pretty pumped, and opening it up all the pieces looked gorgeous and well crafted. However, upon closer inspection it does appear I got what I paid for. One of the tools has a jagged and sharp chip in it, rendering it relatively useless unless I decide I want to make hamburger meat of my flesh. Additionally every single one is pitted all over all flat surfaces. I suppose that doesn't really effect it's usage, but then again if I wanted an effective but ugly piece I would have opted for a pot scraper. The long tool has a crack in the center at the narrowest point which is just yelling "I'm going to break the first time you use me!" Which also bums me out. They do feel nice in my hand and I'm still excited to use the useable pieces. However, I'm really bummed that overall the quality is crap. I think I'll be going back to buffalo horn after this set inevitably shatters.
