NitNot Lice Comb

I recently decided to take the plunge and try a nit comb, hoping to rid my daughter of the pesky little critters that had taken up residence in her hair. The nit not Nit & Lice Comb was the one I chose, drawn to its fine teeth, exchangeable heads, stainless steel combs and ease of cleaning and piping the eggs.Here's the low-down:Pros:The comb's teeth are incredibly fine, which is an essential for catching those tiny nits that can be so difficult to see.Smooth Sailing the comb glides through my girls hair smoothly, which is a huge plus when you're dealing with potentially irritated scalp not to mention it dosnt rip her hair out like others I’ve tried.Sturdy Construction: The stainless steel teach and plastic handle construction feels reliable and durable. It definitely feels like it can withstand some serious combing. It also didn’t hurt or blister my hands like others after hours of brushing looking for eggs ect.Cons:Time Commitment: While the comb is effective, it does take a significant amount of time to comb through the entire head thoroughly. Patience is key! Especially if it’s with toddlers who hate there hair being touched.Not a Magic Solution: This comb is a tool, not a cure. It's important to use it in conjunction with other treatments like lice shampoo to eliminate the infestation or the nit not treatment which is also amazing.Nit Visibility: it can be tricky to see the nits, especially if your hair is dark. You may need a magnifying glass or good lighting to be successful.OverallThe nit not Nit & Lice Comb is a solid option for anyone looking to tackle lice and nits. Perfect, easy to use and clean and reasonably pain free for my daughter - provided I've brushed her hair beforehand! Multiple length blades make it great depending on level of infestation. Removes a lot of nits AND eggs, we had an infestation twice and both times were easy to get rid of, including to do so on myself..

This is amazing! Having bought the cheaper nit combs in stores, I found I was combing through the hair but the comb wasn’t catching the eggs stuck to the hair. The gap is too big. These combs are amazing and work perfectly with the treatment! I’d recommend both!I used the treatment, and combed it all through with the bigger comb then when it was ready to comb through properly, I used the smaller comb. Amazing! It picked up everything that the other combs missed.It’s an essential to have with children! It’s easy to change the comb and they come in a handy box to keep they safe.Highly recommend. They are worth every penny.

More robust and removes more nits per sweep than other combs used.

Amazing comb that gets a surprisingly amount of fluff out of hair ,I use it everyday sometimes twice

Unfortunately my kids have been “blessed” with head lice a few times - this is the best comb I’ve ever used. It gets even the tiniest nits out. It comes with a second comb for finer hair too and is easily interchangeable. I hope we never have need for a nit comb again but if we do this is the only one I will be using!

Nothing special I wouldn't recommend it's just another nit comb with a hefty price tag. It pulls quite bad and takes out clumps of hair despite brushing thoughly before use.

Finally a head lice comb that gets the eggs off fine hair!!!!This is the 3rd (and last :) !!!) type of head lice comb I bought in the last month after our daughter caught head lice at school. The first two combs (one with short plastic teeth, one with long metal teeth) were okay for getting the head lice themselves...however their comb teeth were too wide apart and not completely perpendicular to each, so they simply didn't get any of the small eggs off of the hair and we spent HOURS picking the eggs out by hand.However all that has changed with this NitNOT comb which we bought to deal with a second round of head lice...as these are AMAZING! Don't bother trying any other, these work perfectly, yes they are more expensive but you get what you pay for. These are seriously well made, the comb teeth are so uniform and the gap so small that the eggs also come off the hair, first time, easily. We are SO glad we bought this, it has already saved hours of our time.
